I'm sorry, but I don't like her

First saw her on Good Morning, Miami, and couldn't stand her (although most of the cast was bad anyway). She popped up again on How I Met Your Mother, and she almost ruined the show for me. I know she has fans, and I don't normally go around bashing people, but I just really don't like her acting or her voice. It took me years (and a name-change) to get used to her sister Kimberly, but I don't see that happening with Ashley.

Don't be sorry, you can't like everybody. You are not alone. I first saw her years ago when she was a regular on As The World Turns. I didn't like her character so I thought that was why I didn't like her; turns out it was the other way around. I don't think she's a bad actress but I just can't put my finger on it.... I actually groaned when she appeared as a love interest on HIMYM! Now she's on HUFF, another show I like tremendously and just when I thought I was done seeing her she pops up on that show. I'm glad for her that she is working but I just don't like watching her.

Hey - Just happened to be browsing & stumbled on this thread. I really don't like her as well. I think she had so many opportunities to get a laugh (as did most of the dismal cast of that Miami show), and she totally threw them away. She's not a comedic actress. She may be good at Soap stuff, but the kind of comedy she has the opportunity to do is better suited to people who seem more naturally bombastic than she seems to be. *whew* Had that in there for a while!!

If you want your nails on a chalkboard you really need to see a new Hallmark film called "October Kiss". Her mouth is constantly open either trying to be silly or laughing/grinning. It looks like she works a lot so I'm happy for her but when I see her name on anything I'll be reaching for the remote.
