Just recently watched Centurion and this marvelous actor stole the movie... (well, ok, Michael Fassbender is great too, but man oh man is West amazing!)
Anyway, I'm lobbying him for Game of Thrones because I want to see more of him. Plus he has that medieval look that is perfect for the series. I hope HBO/casting director and West himself can all heed my fantasy casting!

shareThat's actually a great idea. It's quite easy to picture him in Game of Thrones since he's done quite a number of action period films since like John Carter and Centurion, not to mention 300.
He could play Mace Tyrell or Prince Oberyn in Season 3. No, Roose Bolton (if he hasn't already been appeared in Season 2 - I'm not really watching the series very closely).
Obviously it would be great if he got to play a character who actually survives a full season/book!

Oberyn Martell is not bad. He's good at playing a cocky jerk. Roose Bolton was definitely in Season 2. He mentions his bastard, and I think Dominic is too old to play Ramsay.
It would be a small role, but he could play one of the Kettlebacks.
I could easily picture him playing the singer from Beric Dondarions gang (Tom O'Sevens I want to say).
Daario, or really any of the leading sell swords would make sense for him.
The only problem is most of these are pretty tiny roles (and I don't recall where Daario is from; he might be less of a white British guy type).
He would not be a good Areo Hotah or Doran Martell. I don't think Mace Tyrell is right for him either.
