Shoulda been in Boardwalk Empire

He said in an interview with Opie and Jim Norton, that he was ask to audition for Nucky Thompson. But said Buscemi was basically a lock. Apparently, he also turned down a role in Game of Thrones.

I think he may have been considered for Mance Rayder or one of the Greyjoy brothers....but I think he actually woulda been a good Littlefinger. Not that Aiden Gillen doesn't play him well. But i think West coulda done his own cool take on it well

I only watched a little of Game of Thrones. I think he said he was up for Aiden Gillen (Tommy Carcetti The Wire) part. He would have been great on Boardwalk Empire, I think he would have made a great Bugs Moran, Capone's arch rival during the late Twenties.

Bugs....interesting take...never thought of that but I could see that actually. I could see West in a lot of different roles in either show
