I'm not going to lie:
I wish he'd played Benjen Stark just so there could have been that one Boromir/Faramir reunion early in the season.
Other than that, I do think he should join the cast. Not sure about who he should play, though. :)
I agree with you! When i was watching LOTR, i was like: "Faramir should've played Benjen Stark!!" it'll be cute to watch Sean Bean and David Wenham together.

Well, he could still play Brandon Stark in a dream sequence or a flash back if they do decide to do those. Then he would be the bigger brother

It doesn't seem like he wants to work outside of Australia and New Zealand anymore. He hasn't worked overseas since 2008.
