i hope he starts being noticed more, because he's much too good for the fairly small parts hes played over the last few years.

or did you mean supporting as opposed to a bit role right? from what I hear he is like the antagonist
but I agree, he deserves leading roles in action/adventure/sci fi films, he is a great actor, but if he goes on to do nothing(which he shouldnt he deserves to be a star, moreso then Butler, who gets all of the attention) he will still always have this lead role in 300 to his credit
people argue he was a minor character, but from the way I saw the film upon first viewing, Dilios was the central character, the audiance is first introduced to Spartan society through his eyes, and Dilios is also the first principle character we meet(other then a young Leonidas)
but I just feel he is the main character because almost everything that happens in the film, we recieve his vantage point throughout the film through his many inner monologues, giving us his point of view on the events taking place, I dont think the film ever went on for 10 straight minutes without getting insight into what Dilios was thinking
oh well, didnt mean to ramble, bottom line, David Wenham got a magnificant role in 300, and hopefully its success will lead to his success as an actor, he deserves more leading heroic roles such as these.
