Wonder if he's going to take a much need break after Smallville...

I remember seeing a special on the cast members of Smallville on ABCFamily, and how Tom Welling talked about how busy his schedule was when he worked on the set and how he had 12 hour work days everyday. I just wonder if he'll probably take a few years off because he's had a busy life for over 10 years? I hope he'll be in movies or something, he's such a great actor and can play so many different type of roles.

It appears that way, as he hasn't done anything since the show has ended. Tom seems like an unconventional type of actor. For one he could had probably of left Smallville early on to pursue a career in movies. However, he choose to stay. He doesn't seem to be too concerned with fame. I guess he just wants a solid work schedule, but now he is looking for some time off. Nothing wrong with that. He has earned it. I do hope he comes back to TV sometime in the future.
