Smallville has been gone for a while and IMDB doesn't mention anything in terms of producing or acting. He;'s still young, so why doesn't he work in movies now?

shareNo word on what he's doing now (except participating in some charity events). I think he's taking time off for the first real extended time in 10 years.
Though I did hear a rumor that he'd spoken to the new head of the CW about producing some show (not Hellcats). Don't know if that's true or not.
