Your insane. Tom did a great job and brought more humanity to a Superman character that was supposed to always be conflicting with his human up-bringing than any actor i had ever seen play Superman.

Yep. Tom did a great job and so did all the other cast of Smallville.

Yeah, absolutely. Every time he comes on screen for the first time in an episode I just sit there mentally screaming "THAT'S CLARK KENT!". He is far and away the best Superman they've ever had. And it's so insanely obvious to end the show and then have it flow into a film series.

Smallville has nothing to do with Superman. Other than character names. The relationships are all wrong. Character development is way off. And there is no timeline. Man of Steel is WB's chance to redeem the character off the page and do it right. Bring it back to Puzo and Donner's 1978 Superman: The Movie.

Tom Welling is a horrible Superman, and Smallville is a horrible superman series.

Man of Steel might be the redeeming movie on a decaying franchise, and by the trailer, it seems amazing. Really eager to see it.
