I LOVED Ben! He was one of the cutest guys in the whole series and I almost wished that him and Buffy would have got together-umm maybe not...I was hoping that his character could release Glory without dying, but no- I was sad :( Oh well, I loved Ben and the little time he spent within the Buffyverse...
shareI think Charlie is a good looking guy as well. Buffy is the only thing I've seen him in so far. Hope to see more.
But having Buffy and Ben hook up, even for just a kiss, would have been overkill for Buffy and the storyline. Buffy had already been thru so much that season. If she and Ben had moved on their attractions of each other, then Buffy finding out who he really was, would have been just one more bad thing to handle, clogging up the complicated story line as it was. Plus, it was good to show Buffy trying to get along in life w/o a love interest, show that she can stand by herself. And it gave the story line a chance to focus on the romancese of the other Scoobies.
