If it was a real life zombie apocalypse I'd agree, but this is television! If they can keep everyone on Lost's hair looking awesome and hurley well fed, then they can easily make Sarah Wayne Callies look more attractive in a zombie apocalypse like The Walking Dead. She looked stunning in Prison Break and it was no picnic for her to live like that either!

Lost was unrealistic. Hurley only got fatter then thinner on a desert Island. Then they came up with a ridicules storyline that he was stealing food from the group. They did Evangeline her make-up very good, but she is simply a neutral beauty and doesn’t need much make-up. But Emlie de Ravin was wearing a lot of make-up in season 2 to make her look like that.

The characters from The Walking Dead are looking really realistic to me. Lori was probably always very skinny like Sarah Wayne Callies but got thinner during the journey. There were days they did not have anything to eat so she probably gave all she had to her kid. I guess Sarah rather play Lori more realistic then looking like beauty when that is impossible in a story like this. Laurie Holden looked better before but I don't hear anyone about it. Besides I don’t think Sarah is that ugly at all. Not as pretty as in Prison Break but defiantly not ugly.

I never said she was ugly, I just said they can make her look more attractive. Why are you explaining Lost to me? I know all about it.

If that's what she looks like "broken down," remind me to avert my eyes when she's all made up, to avoid being struck dead by her beauty. I mean, come on, she looks gorgeous on the show.

I agree with the OP. Why does every character in every show have to be attractive? Especially in a show about a zombie apocalypse. Our society has been ruined by expectations of beauty. I hate it when I see a show or a movie where every single person is beautiful. Have you been in public lately? About 10% of humans are beautiful. The rest are average or worse. I say kudos to The Walking Dead for being realistic rather than trying to be 90210 or The Hills with flesh-eating zombies.

That's because people are shallow! I think she looks beautiful for a show about zombie apocalypse.
