She doesn't have strong features to take bold makeup

I have noticed that lately as well-she's freaking gorgeous but she needs to put on a few pounds and stop with the face painting.

I agree that was a bad makeup choice, it makes her look older. However, if you look at her default profile pic, you'll realize she's heavily made-up there, and she looks gorgeous. It's not a matter of how much she wears, but what shades she's wearing and how it's been applied on her.

Besides, the fact that she needs little make-up is an evidence on the contrary to what you suggest -she's a natural beauty, not plain-looking. That's why she doesn't need any artificial enhancement, like many celebrities do. She looks beautiful without or with little make-up, as opposed to many celebrities who look unrecognizable (and not in a good way) without it.

She does have some stronger features with her cheekbones and lips. Also, most people in the business - whether they look like it or not - are very heavily made up. A lot of the time, they are not even the ones applying the makeup and doing their hair. I doubt SWC did her own hair and makeup in that photo. Probably from a makeup artist with a too heavy hand used to applying extra dark makeup for ladies a lot older than SWC. The coloring was a bit too dark. She is a natural beauty - so it's not necessary to go strong on the shades.
