Why did she change from Anne to Wayne?

The origin of "Wayne" is that it is her mom's maiden name. Why she changed it from Anne is up for speculation. Perhaps to honor her mom is one point. Maybe it is just her stage name and in real life she uses Anne.

Thanks for posting that her mother's maiden name was Wayne because I've wondered why she changed her middle name from Anne to Wayne and that gives a possible explanation why she changed her middle name.
