I first took note of Jessica in The Group (1966) but after seeing her
in Clint Eastwood's debut film, Play Misty for Me, I became a lifelong fan. She's very convincing and highly effective in whatever role she takes on.
I couldn't agree with you more. What I also find so impressive is the wide range of her work. Sure, she does get a lot of the same type because she does them so well but when you look at her whole body of work it's staggering. I'm very partial to her early work but obviously her recent comedy work is brilliant. I'm also hoping she'll back onto the stage again soon.
