I think at one point I heard he was being considered for the part of Johnny Storm which eventually was played by Chris Evans. It would have been his second film with Jessica Alba.

Meh, maybe. He wasn't interested in doing those superhero movies. He tested for Superman before the movie came out, even had the suit on and everything. Called his agent and told him to cancel it. Lol. He was worried about being typecast. Which is understandable because I can only think of one movie, other than Superman, with Christopher Reeve.

Yeah, but you gotta admit Christopher Reeve syndrome is real. Though, F&F clearly was his bread and butter, people recognize him from other movie like Running Scared and Takers. I doubt the guy that played Superman in the remake almost 10 years ago has done much else. His Fast character was was a better fit.
