I met Lana Wachowski tonight

She dined at the restaurant I work at in Chicago tonight. She is very smart, very personable and very humble. Her wife (her name escapes me) was very kind too. I didn't exchange a whole lot of words, but she was very honored when I said how moved I was during her speech at HRC Awards (although at that moment I thought it was the GLAAD awards ... Oops!). She seemed very proud to have filmed "Jupiter Ascending" in Chicago, and said the visuals of the city are "breathtaking" having filmed at dusk and dawn for weeks.

Thought I was would share this story with other fans, as many of my coworkers weren't nearly as excited as I was.

AWESOME story. So cool, I would be star struck beyond belief. She has helped shaped my identity and everything I know I love in the world and it all started in 1999 when I was still a kid and watched The Matrix for the first time. You met one of my Idols that night. You're extremely lucky.
