I guess the coens by default since the wachowski's are brutal directors.

The Coen Brothers for sure. Although, The Wachowski's have a vision, I'm not into their films, Except for Bound and The Matrix Trilogy.

Their work in V for Vendetta was excellent but the rest is mediocre to pathetic. Coens easily.

I'd also put the Zucker brothers above the Wachowskis. The Hughes boys and the Farreleys, too.

But the Coens win this contest hands down. Probably moreso than the talents of the 8 I mentioned above combined.
