THE GIRL IN BLACK STOCKINGS starring Mamie Van Doren and Anne Bancroft will air on Turner Classic Movies March 22nd, watch for it!!

This is good to know! Some Mamie movies are hard to find and a lot of her younger admirers have never seen any of her films. I've posted this message about the upcoming movie on TCM in her dreambook on her site! Hope you don't mind!

Fine with me. MVD doesn't show up often on TCM since they most of her films were at Universal (they only play their biggest titles) or later "independent" movies. They played her VICE RAID about 7 years ago. I was able to see a number of Mamie's Universal pictures when AMC concentrated on classic-era films more like A STAR IN THE DUST, YANKEE PASHA, FRANCIS JOINS THE WACS, etc.
