What is with the height disparities in Hollywood? The women get taller and taller, and the men seem to get shorter and shorter. Revenge is just awful in that regard. The women are all taller than their guys! And it's not just high heels.
Don't get me wrong--as a tall girl, I love seeing tall women on the screen. It just seems strange.

When I was doing theatre (I'm 5'8") most of the guys were shorter than me. Strange. Maybe acting just attracts shorter guys and taller girls. Then there would be the errant six foot four guys that would get ALL the roles :>)

Oddly, Daniel (Joshua Bowman) is supposed to be 6ft tall and Emily is 5ft 8inches, according to all the biographies I have read. Yet, in Revenge she always seems bigger than Daniel/Joshua, regardless of the shoes she has on!! The actor who plays Aiden must be around 6ft 3 inches!! Love the fat that Joshua and Emily date in real life!!!!!
Yeah, I've noticed it as well. I think that a lot of smaller guys get into theater instead of athletics in high school, discover that they love it and eventually become Hollywood actors. At the same time, a lot of taller guys who might be good actors get pigeonholed into football, basketball, etc in high school and never really get a chance to know whether they'd like actors.
Still, there are some tall guys in Hollywood. Hard to think of anyone in the younger set offhand, but all of the Baldwins were pretty tall. But, there are a fair number of tall, leggy girls in Hollywood (thank Heaven!).
I do not really care what others have to say. But, sometimes, I need to point how ridiculous it is.
