King Candy Accent

It was interesting trying to reconcile his performance as racist Phillies manager Ben Chapman (who played with Ruth and Gehrig on the Yankees) in 42, along with his performance as King Candy in Wreck-It Ralph.

His accent brought to mind Ed Wynn's voice as Uncle Albert in Mary Poppins.

You should've heard him do a line from 42 in the King Candy voice. He did it yesterday at Wizard World Chicago. And it was meant to bring Ed Wynn to mind!
