I just don't understand, I'm a Christian and I would look at Trump not getting re-elected as an opportunity to focus more on Jesus and less on worldly pursuits knowing that He is preparing a better place for me.

Also, many are convinced the world will not be safe for their children if their candidates do not win. They have forgotten that all throughout history, God has always brought those who trust in Him through some really ugly situations. Nothing in this world is safe unless it's given completely over to Him.
On the other hand, there are plenty of examples in history of tryannical rulers persecuting and oppressive Christians with great suffering and/or loss of life.
So, the fear is understandable.
Lord knows that the hate and hostility coming from the left is terrifying if combined with any power or authority.
I know if the party I've voted for loses I'll start focusing more on God realizing I shouldn't have been focusing on the world and its problems, even though I'm a Democrat hearing so many Christians claiming that America will be finished if Trump loses had me worried and wondering if I should vote for Trump or not.
