LAS VEGAS - He wasn't on the ballot, but Donald Trump came up a winner in Nevada's state-run Republican presidential primary.

On Thursday, the former president's name will be listed in the Nevada GOP's caucus, where he's expected to land an outright victory.

Trump's absence from the primary ballot wasn't enough to provide a path to victory for Nikki Haley – the former president's last remaining major rival for the 2024 Republican nomination.

robocat is one of maybe 2 or 3 posters here that you notice only really respond with insults and a wierd level of anger thats not normal, especially when you're talking with strangers, the insults don't even have any humour to them it's just pure anger.

obviously on sites like moviechat you don't who you're interacting with, at times surely theres a spectrum involved. but you get the feeling that some people here are one slight percieved injustice or bad day off pulling a lizzie borden.

they'll never let biden do a presidential debate. even in 2 minute snippets where he talks to the cameras outside an ice cream shop he says something insane. no way will they let him do a 2 hour debate live on tv.

I mentioned this countless times that Michelle Obama would be the only one to beat Trump and people even at work thought I was a conspiracy theory nut over it and now look?? I mean, she'd be the 1st Female President(so to speak) and a Female of Diversity and Barry would be the "1st Gentlemen" as opposed to the "1st Lady" and the MSM would just eat this shit up. yeah, i've been saying it for a year. at this point i just feel sorry for ol joe, what did he do yesterday, mix russia up with egypt or something and call trump a congressman? never ever are they going to have him doing debates. it would be insane.

the thing is with big mike, dems will fall all over themselves. making the nomination easy. but at an election? they'll need to do something to get some buzz going, something major will happen.

I'm not so sure. i think if you watch some msnbc show it's really easy to believe that trump is hated and that the obamas are worshipped. there is a percentage of the population that really do worship barry and mike. they had a real cult of personality going on for those 8 years.

but have you seen how wild people go when trump is at some UFC event? how many people go to his rallies and even get turned away because its full? look at how he's breaking records in the republican primaries?

remember that if big mike becomes the nominee, i can't see it happening tomorrow right? i think it will be early summer. giving him/her only 4, 5 .. months to get on the road, talk, get some buzz going.... and he/she is going to have to take on the baggage of these last 4 years of a democrat white house which has been a disaster, especially the border crisis.

so big mike really is going to need a game changing event right? i don't think he/she is worshipped enough by america as a whole to get him over the line in a general election. so it's either a game changing event, ballots in the trash time, or something else.

and the "something else" is a real possibilty

i think that if you had everyone over 18 in the country put the name trump or big mike in a box tomorrow, then trump would win. not in landslide, but he'd win. i think that mike is both seen as divisive by many but loved by the kinda people who watch oprah.

if you're going to run for president you need your face out there, you need a level of buzz even 18 months before the elections.

like desantis did, being so good for florida, like ted cruz had this buzz around him in 2013-16, even trump 2 years before the election got more and more political, got his face out there.

big mike hasn't and theres elections in 9 months time. so like i keep saying, they'll need a game changing event.

but mike will be the nominee.
