Politico: A whole swath of GOP voters firmly committed to not voting for Trump in November

Donald Trump has a problem no matter what happens in New Hampshire tonight:

There’s a whole swath of the Republican electorate and a good chunk of independents who appear firmly committed to not voting for him in November if he becomes the nominee

“I can’t vote for Trump. He’s a crook. He’s too corrupt,” said Scott Simeone, 64, an independent voter from Amherst, who backed Trump in 2016 and 2020. “I voted for him, and I didn’t realize he’s as corrupt as he is.”

Sean Van Anglen, a prominent and early Trump supporter in the state who now plans to vote for Haley on Tuesday, said if Trump becomes the nominee, he might have to blank that line on his November ballot.

“I don’t think I can vote for Trump,” he said. “I vote in every election, I’ve never left a box blank. And I might have to this time.”

“I liked him. But he just scares me now. Everybody that has ever worked for him is not any more,” said Lisa Tracy, of Salem. If it came down to Biden versus Trump, she said, “I would go with Biden.”

I cant wait to vote for Trump. Trump will be President again unless he loses by chicanery.

A nice piece of wishful thinking and cherry-picking, and I so wish it were true. Yet I will be surprised and happily so if Trump is not the nominee, and elated if he then loses in the general election. We don't need someone whose main ambition is to tear up the Constitution and declare himself president for life.

reply

declare himself president for life.

Nonsense, he didn’t try that at the end of his first term. They should not have stolen the election and allowed him to complete his second term that he rightfully won.

reply

I don't know if you've noticed, but things are a little different this time. He's already declared himself as Hitleresque with his rooting out the "vermin" speeches. As for his claim that the election was stolen in 2020, that has been proven time and again by his own people (think Bill Barr, Rex Tillerson, General Milley, et al), and believed by no one except the rabid MAGA people, many of which infest this site.

If you can’t recognize that we have been living under a dictator for the past three years and that the current regime is destroying our country than you must be living under a rock of denialism.

They went after him for the crimes that they actually committed and thereby exposing themselves.

Bill Barr, Rex Tillerson, General Milley

All those are RINOs and members of the DS uniparty establishment and swamp.

Of the 92 lawsuits, Trump/GOP won 23 of them, but you are not going to hear about that from the lying MSM.
Besides, there has not been an official investigation into the 2020 election.
They only have them when Trump/GOP wins an election.

And it will still not make any difference.

And??
