What's Trumps Appeal

as a non American, this seems to be the only presidential run up where one of the candidates is focussing not on what he can do, but on what he didn't do in the past (that's a way of saying not on the upcoming election, but on the previous election)

you don't want to know what most of the rest of the world thinks of Trump

Absolutely nothing..

He makes people feel like its okay to hate immigrants, women, black people and democrats.

right or wrong. lies or not. all calculated politics or geniune beliefs. this is what i see as his appeal to republicans.

-speaks his mind. doesnt feel scripted and hence feels more genuine.
-seems more "average Joe" than more polished politicians
-anti establishment rhetoric
-outsider rhetoric
-brought up average, every day person issues like NAFTA
-related to above talks about issues they feel other more mainstream politicians wont.

Hilariously doesn't give a shit.

Other big, fat, sore losers can really relate to him.
