Trump reportedly ‘irked’ that arraignment judge called him ‘Mr Trump’

Donald Trump is said to have been left in a foul mood after his arraignment in Washington DC on Thursday – but not for the reason that many would think.

The former president was “irked” that US District Judge Moxila Upadhyaya referred to him as “Mr Trump” and not “Mr President” as he was formally hit with four charges over his attempts to overturn the 2020 presidential election, according to CNN.

Imagine how "irked" Trump will be when he's called inmate Trump.

He'll get his prison-convict number in due course. Right now, Convict-45 will just have to suffice.

reply

Wow, more TDS?

You need help bruh.

reply

The only cure for Trump Derangement Syndrome is called: Six Feet Under.

reply

Does he really expect that anyone is required to still call him President? He acts as if he expects everyone to acknowledge it. Regardless of him being right about cheating or not, he needs to move on from this obsession that he still rules America and lives in the white house.

reply

Traditionally, former Presidents do keep the title. Ignoring that was disrespectful of President Trump.

reply

Unless......, you're facing a judge with a shitload of Federal crimes!

reply

Irrelevant. AND, you seem to be implying that hte judge has already made up his mind about whether or not those accusations are true or not.

reply

He’s like you or me now…, Mr Man

reply

Correct, he is due the respect and titles he has earned, just like you and me. The judge was being disrespectful.

reply

Yep….he will really be pissed when he becomes “Inmate 162021”. Can’t wait!!!

reply

Not just rude, but a clear indication of bias right out of the gate. Automatically casting doubt on the validity of any ruling.

What would have happened if Trump had referred to the judge as Ms. Upadhyaya? I suspect he would have been found to be in contempt of court in a New York minute. Leftists can't help themselves.

reply

Trumps rude to everybody.
It’s time he gets a taste of his own medicine

reply

A judge goes ballistic if you don't call them Your Honor. Trump is an innocent person and thus the judge should have the decorum to use the appropriate and professional honorific. To do otherwise can bias the courtroom and cause a mistrial.

reply

There is no trial at the arraignment. At trial, he will be called “the defendant”.

reply

How can calling him Mr Trump be bias and cause a mistrial?
You’re grasping at straws now
