President Donald Trump said that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, his opponent in the 2016 presidential election, should be in jail.

Trump was speaking during an interview with the ABC and political anchor George Stephanopoulos, who donated $75,000 to the Clinton Foundation between 2012 and 2014 while working for ABC.

Stephanopoulos questioned Trump about the president’s recent comments concerning accepting intelligence from foreign countries and asked specifically about Donald Trump Jr.’s meeting with Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya—an operative linked to Fusion GPS, an opposition research firm that was working on behalf of the Clinton campaign—who told Trump’s son she had information about Clinton.

Noting that special counsel Robert Mueller found no conspiracy or cooperation between his campaign and Russia, Trump said that the notion of calling the FBI whenever approached with information about political opponents was unrealistic.

“She deleted 33,000 emails … sent by the United States Congress. They gave a subpoena to Hillary Clinton for 33,000 emails. After the subpoena was gotten, she deleted them. That’s called obstruction. And her lawyer should also be looked at because her lawyer, she’s got to have the greatest lawyer on earth because she does that, he did the deleting supposedly, not only did they delete, but they acid washed them,” he added.
