Dems subpoena Deutsche Bank and other banks seeking info on T-rump's finances
Subpoenas continue to rain all over the T-rump administration, as House Dems moved to subpoena Deutsche Bank, JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America and Citigroup earlier this week. Their motive: to get more information on T-rump's finances, and find out if any Russian money laundering was going on.
Democratic aides have promised the Dems, now in charge of The House Intelligence and Financial Services committees, will issue additional subpoenas targeted T-rump's finances in the very near future.
According to T-rump's new caravan of lawyers, the Dems have crossed his 'red line' which he drew in the Mueller investigation, forbidding anyone to investigate his personal finances. That 'warning' hasn't phased the committees in the least, nor Deutsche Bank.
“As part of our oversight authority and authorized investigation into allegations of potential foreign influence on the U.S. political process, the House Intelligence Committee today issued subpoenas to multiple financial institutions in coordination with the House Financial Services Committee, including a friendly subpoena to Deutsche Bank, which has been cooperative with the Committees,” said Rep. Adam Schiff, the House Intelligence chairman. “We look forward to their continued cooperation and compliance.”
