Barr says the 2016 Trump campaign was spied on.

Barr said: "I want to make sure there was no unauthorized surveillance," modifying his language.

He said the Justice Department would release a redacted version of the Mueller report next week.

Barr told the committee that he would review all the intelligence activities directed at Trump's 2016 campaign.

Keep in mind that all of this seemed to have started with this dossier that was essentially an oppo research paper funded by the Democrats.

reply

Wrong. This started with George Papadopoulos opening his fat stupid mouth! The FISA warrant which I guess you're driving at was not only been reviewed repeatedly but renewed multiple times. That in of itself implies good faith on the part of the investigators. Furthermore, there's a distinctive difference between opposition research (which began being funded by Republicans btw) and negotiating stolen information with a foreign power (which is what Don Junior was hoping to acquire).

reply

Democrats were hoping to inquire information about Trump and Bernie too. But since they didn't win, no one cares about that anymore.

Then you have the Steele dossier and Fusion GPS, the list goes on.

reply

Whats wrong with inquiring information? Whats illegal about the Steele dossier? The questions go on.

reply

It's a RWNJ tactic to conflate opposition research with the negotiation of stolen information.

reply

I hear ya. Stupidity and ignorance are an endless void with right-wingers.

reply

Trump was inquiring information too and got investigated for 2 years.

reply

Trump's campaign was investigated because the DNC's email server was hacked into to help him win the election. So either you're misinformed or lying. Which is it?

reply

Who hacked the email server? And Hillary got more votes. You just got pwned by an Ackbar.

reply

Russia hacked the DNC's email server. No wonder you think Trump was investigated for "inquiring" information. You've had your fingers in your ears for the last two years. You couldn't pwn a toddler at pong.

reply

You just said this: "Whats wrong with inquiring information?"

Now you are saying its wrong? Its been 2 years and Trump is still innocent and President. I am pretty sure he won fair and square. Hillary should have campaigned harder in the northern states.

reply

You'd have to be pretty damned ignorant to consider hacking someone's account info as an inquiry. Inquiring is asking for it. Hacking info is taking it and usually by illegal means.

I asked what illegal means were used to obtain the Steele dossier but all you've come back with is "Trump won the election."

reply

The Office investigated whether those contacts constituted a third avenue of attempted Russian
interference with or influence on the 2016 presidential election. In particular, the investigation
examined whether these contacts involved or resulted in coordination or a conspiracy with the
Trump Campaign and Russia, including with respect to Russia providing assistance to the
Campaign in exchange for any sort of favorable treatment in the future. Based on the available
information, the investigation did not establish such coordination .

reply

Keep in mind Barr was appointed by trump and is beholden to him.

I figured I help you with the Google search ;)

Mueller, who is a Republican and Veteran, found no wrong doing after a 2 year investigation.

I like how you linked something you did not read and stated that it said something it did not say.

Page 182:

Because we determined not to make a traditional prosecutorial judgment, we did not draw
ultimate conclusions about the President ' s conduct. The evidence we obtained about the
President's actions and intent presents difficult issues that would need to be resolved if we were
making a traditional prosecutorial judgment. At the same time , if we had confidence after a
thorough investigation of the facts that the President clearly did not commit obstruction of justice,
we would so state. Based on the facts and the applicable legal standards, we are unable to reach
that judgment. Accordingly, while this report does not conclude that the President committed a
crime, it also does not exonerate him.

Summary:
Trump is neither guilty or not guilty, its now up to Congress to determine that.

The Office identified multiple contacts- "links ," in the words of the Appointment Order between Trump Campaign officials and individuals with ties to the Russian government. The
Office investigated whether those contacts constituted a third avenue of attempted Russian

examined whether these contacts involved or resulted in coordination or a conspiracy with the

Summary:
No Collusion.

"Mueller, who is a Republican and Veteran, found no wrong doing after a 2 year investigation."

"Trump is neither guilty or not guilty, its now up to Congress to determine that."

How is it up to Congress to determine whether Trump is guilty if Mueller found no "wrong doing" as you put it?

Finding no wrongdoing means Trump is clearly not guilty whether it goes to Congress or not. Now where in the report does it say Mueller found no wrongdoing? All we have is the opposite... that he found enough to pivot the decision to Congress... which Mueller would've done even if he found Trump guilty of murder as he cannot indict a sitting president for any reason.

reply

Semantics my dear ultra.

reply

We already know you're not interested in a real conversation on this board. No point in continuing to pretend.

reply

It was funny when Barr choked up when trying to answer the question of whether there was any spying going on in the T-rump campaign. He couldn't get his answer out - I thought he was convulsing on national TV.

reply

Barr admitted that he has absolutely no evidence that the Trump campaign was spied on.

reply

Just an "opinion". His claim is worthless. How can we trust him to be honest about the Mueller report?

reply

Sounds like the Mueller report as well. I wonder if they will investigate the supposed spying?

reply

Trump was spied on by Obama and the left. Hillary colluded with Russia. Its funny the libs want to spin this the total opposite way. Sad people.

reply

Now the left is saying its ok for Presidents to spy on their competition. I can't wait for them to start complaining when they find out Trump was spying on all of them.

reply

I just hope all the evidence collected will be released to the public and a investigation into why they spied on Trump should begin.
