House passes resolution calling for Trump-Russia report to be made public

The House resolution is unable to actually force Donald Trump, the White House or the US Justice Department to send Congress materials related to the report that may violate current law or the agency’s rules surrounding official releases of investigatory findings, however.

Still, the vote is seen as a critical demand from the Democrat-controlled House to be able to review the full report from the special counsel’s investigation into whether the president’s campaign wrongfully conspired with Russia to sway the election against Hillary Clinton — an effort the Kremlin was pushing throughout the last general election, according to the US Intelligence Community.

House Judiciary Committee chairman Jerrold Nadler said the vote was meant to “send a clear signal both to the American people and the Department of Justice” that Congress expects a full review of Mr Mueller’s findings.

Not a single politician voted no for the resolution. Four voted “present”, while 420 voted in support.

Also I think 13 Senate Republicans have publically stated they will vote to reverse the National Emergency Order, most went as far as to publish editorials enumerating their reasons, so they really are voting yes, not yet enough to override a veto but a welcome uptick of Republican sanity

You're as out-of-touch as Hillary. Republicans have done more to sabotage Trump than Democrats have. For example, they voted 79 times to repeal Obamacare, and then the one time it actually mattered, they reversed it. They still want a Republican President in office though, they just want him neutered. Trump's agenda isn't good for business and that's why every corporation backed Hillary.

So cut out all that sanctimonious crap about "sanity". You know this vote doesn't matter. It's even liable to backfire. What if there's nothing about Russia in there? Are you going to say Mueller was incompetent?

Trump sabotages himself. 2 years spent dragging his feet on the "wall" he apparently doesnt actually want... and then suddenly its an emergency after the Democrats take power?

Did he even try to get it funded while the GOP controlled all of government? Of course not, because his only real goal was a gouging tax cut for himself and his rich friends. He didnt even bother to reduce spending so now he has added around 2 trillion to the debt, setting another terrible record for his part of the history books.

The Mueller investigation succeeded. Indictments, prison time, guilty pleas, etc. It paid for itself with fines, if not profited.

Remember: Its a Russian interference investigation. Its not a Trump investigation or a collusion investigation.

The Republican voting base and millions of Democratic and Independent voters put him in office, and Republicans, not Trump, are the people spinning all the policies he is signing off-on

And American voters agreed with them, they handed Trump the Presidency

They didn't, they voted to eliminate the individual mandate, rendering the PPACA moot. They failed to vote for something to replace what they repealed.

They voted for him and have mostly praised him, except for union heads, and the few companies he bullied into not shifting jobs outside of the US who did so anyway and blamed Trump's policies but said they would vote for him again, and the farming sector for the tariffs who also mostly back Trump regardless

They didn't, they backed Trump, Trump won, and he signed legislation and orders gutting corporate taxes and corporate regulations, he promised to gut their taxes and free them from government regulation and he won

Republicans sabotaged and gutted Obama's Health Care Reform for years, then repealed it with no replacement, that's how "cowardly" they are, they fulfilled their promises so well Trump won and Trump may very will win again. Democrats cannibalizing Democrats is a big beautiful win for Republicans.
