Thoughts and Prayers for Republican McSally, as Sinema's lead grows in Arizona senate race
"Thoughts and prayers" go out to Arizona's Republican Rep. Martha McSally, as Democrat Rep. Kyrsten Sinema's lead in Arizona's Senate race grew considerably on Sunday. With a 32,640 vote lead for Sinema, it looks like Arizona is turning Blue.
Sinema campaign manager Andrew Piatt, believing there are more Democratic ballots left to be counted than Republican ballots, said on Saturday that "McSally can hope for a miracle tomorrow night but the data show it won't happen."
McSally campaign CEO Jim Bognet promised "we will continue our effort to make sure all lawful ballots are counted," in response to Sinema's widening lead.
Of course, T-rump tried to cast doubt on the legitimacy of the Arizona election, though no evidence or allegation support his claims. Both outgoing Republican Senator Jeff Flake and re-elected Republican Governor Doug Ducey rebuked T-rump's fear mongering claims.
