T-rump ignores major loss on election night in today's Tweets

T-rump took to Twitter this morning for the nation's briefing, and completely ignored the massive Blue Wave which took over the House of Representatives last night. Instead, he focused on the Senate.

"Those that worked with me in this incredible Midterm Election, embracing certain policies and principles, did very well. Those that did not, say goodbye! Yesterday was such a very Big Win, and all under the pressure of a Nasty and Hostile Media!", he tweeted early today.

He added, "We will be discussing our success in the Midterms," indicating a meeting for later.

Such a petty, orange, spiteful moron.

I can't wait to see his hands tied for the next two years while the Trumpers rage.

All that gloating the Trumpers did for two years will come back to bite them.

come on doggie there was no massive blue wave even CNN admitted that. He was going to lose the house everyone knew that what was unexpected was how little losses he took and not only that they are making gains in the Senate. A massive blue wave would have had far less contested races and something closer to the losses Obama took in his first mid term and maybe even taking the senate. You have to deal with reality here, the democrats did not get the support one would have thought considering the person that is President right now.

Republicans heavily gerrymandered the country 8 years ago yet Dems were able to finally take over the house despite this fact, winning the overall vote by nine percent. They had to have a massive win in the popular vote because of that gerrymandering.

As for the Senate, its not too surprising that they held it, since most of the seats up for reelection were Democratic.

reply

Not surprising they held the Senate so much as it was they have an opportunity to gain more than the possible one seat. Remember..blue wave, maybe not a Senate takeover but at least not more than a loss. A massive blue wave would be worthless if it did not have at least a shot of taking the Senate. It is what it is. Democrats took the House as expected but not behind the "massive" blue wave that some thought would happen with Trump in office. If I were Trump and/or a republican I would be very pleased with the results of this election because it shows that Democrats do not have quite the support they thought they would have and they are signalling waste of time investigations, foolish attempt at impeachment and funniest of all Pelosi as speaker again if anything this scenario probably increases his reelection chances.

He's been tweeting about it now, calling it a great success.
"To any of the pundits or talking heads that do not give us proper credit for this great Midterm Election, just remember two words - FAKE NEWS!"

Lol. The Republicans rigged the game in their favor and still will be down at least 30 seats in the house, lost the overall vote in house races by a combined 9 percent, but they are still winning. I'd say its unbelievable, but this is Trump we're talking about.

reply

I think there was success on both sides.

The Republicans held the Senate. They were also able to fight off great candidates like Gillum and O'Rourke as well as keep that Nazi King. Abrams still pending.

Democratic successes were winning the majority in Congress, more Governors, the suburbs and Independents voting for Democrats,

Long-term could be more good news if Democrats don't screw things up. Possible Democratic senate gains and two years to appeal to rural voters. Realistically, the economy and market will likely be down by 2020 so Trump won't have that playing card in his deck.
