US soldiers may fire on the caravan. By that I am not sure if Trump means live ammo or non-lethal. I already linked before vids of them throwing rocks and other objects at the Mexican Federal Police injuring a few.

Mind you they're still very far off (not even near Mexico City yet) and won't even make it here even by the Nov.6th mid-election. They also got denied buses into Mexico City.

Can you imagine a news crew embedded in with these troops? Taking pictures of them guarding the sand & tumbleweeds & road runners in the desert?

The fact that Fox & CNN & ABC & CBS aren't showing you these ghost patrols = shows what bullshit this maneuver is.

But hey, more troops than we have fighting in Afghanistan and more troops than we have fighting ISIS to “combat” a problem a thousand miles from our border? Thatthe kind of TV the Golden Corral Crowd loves.

No, I'm suggesting if our troops need to be ANY where, it's where there is an actual imminent thread.

I'm sure Trump puts his Christmas tree up in June because Christmas will get here "eventually"....

It will most likely be treated as crowed control with riot gear. Most soldiers will just be there on display or operate in a support role. Most will not be on the front line blocking entry. Unless people in the caravan open fire on the troops I just don't see firearms being used on the crowd. Its one of many tactical mistakes made by trump to portray this as a military exercise. To some extent the left is correct this is a stunt but caravans won't be allowed to enter non the less.

It will also be interesting to see Mexico's government response to the caravans as they won't want them in their country either and knowing that the caravan will be stuck in their nation.
