October 16 Dow +500 the thunderous Trump boom rolls on

And here’s why. Despite numerous federal reserves rate increases this year designed to slow the Trump boom, Trumps pro American business economy is just too strong.

Last week the comibination of billionaire demokkkrat market movers trying to create a run before the November midterms, failed. Add this to fears of an unprecedented 4th federal reserve rate increase this year, as well as mortgage rates topping 5%, investors decided to take profits after a thunderous rally and enjoy the wealth they acquired thanks to the Trump booming economy.

Today, as we in the educated class knew would happen, the Dow has rallied back up +500 points. The federal reserve minutes will be released tomorrow, which surely will confirm what we all expect, the fed will not be raising rates this time around. As usual, that info leaks to institutional investors and we have a massive rally ahead of tomorrow’s news.

Poor demokkkrat media/party/lemmings can’t even smile for a day without their perpetual fail coming back again.

This is what happens when you’re obsessed with hate. And have no ideas or solutions. The 2018 demokkkrat party of hate and fail.

You mean how they've PARTIALLY recouped SOME of the losses they've suffered over the last week?

You're crowing while we're laughing because you ran and hid like a scared little girl when the market was plummeting.

We ALWAYS laugh at you.

We don't get angry.

We don't plot or plan.

We sit here and wait for you to inevitably appear because, like your great orange god, you're your own worst enemy.

How much is "PARTIALLY"? Whats the percentage?

Sounds like it's you who just can't keep up.

You got owned big time. Do the math for us?

reply

I know you got owned, I was the one that informed you remember? Geez, get your shit together.

reply

No one owns The President, The President is unownable. The President cannot get "owned".

Too bad for you you're not the president.

PresidentAckbar - it says President.

Nominally speaking. :)

What happened to you? Didn't you used to be one of those funny Akbar posters on the Star Wars boards? Now look at you: a Trumper who seemingly abandoned any and all common sense you seemed to have on the Star Wars boards.

Keep that orange kool-aid away from me. It must kill brain cells.

reply

I don't know, I guess my best years are behind me. There is no one interesting on the Star Wars boards anymore and talking about it non stop for the past 4 years got old. My only refuge now is Mr Trump and its losing my interest now.

reply

I've seen your posts before--you're better than this. And I don't say that often around here.

Ah, whatever. Whatever floats your boat. Who am I to tell anyone what to do. I just thought I'd ask because you're above imbeciles like GD, Satan and some of the others in here.

Anyway, do what you want. I was just genuinely curious because you're not a troll like some of the buffoons in here and I remember you quite well from IMDB. Anyway, I won't bug you anymore. Discuss what you want.

reply

I absolutely believe your best years were spent posting on internet message boards.

Poor Bubba and the rest duped by T-rump: 2018 goes down in history as the worst year for the stock market in a decade. The Dow lost 5.6% this year, the S&P lost 6.2%, while the NASDAQ was down 4%.

December goes into the history books as the worst December since 1931, while Christmas Eve day was the worst ever in history. The Dow swung 1,000 points five times in 2018, with a total of eight times throughout history.

Poor Bubbas.

The Trumpening cant be stopped, its everywhere!

reply

Only a liberal would be mad about the stock market succeeding or a record low unemployment. Look you may not like Trump but you have to admit he is successful and is helping ALL Americans. Even those who hate him.

reply

I don’t have to admit that when he’s helping the rich and convincing his Cracker Barrel loving acolytes that THEY’RE benefiting

reply

He may be helping the rich but he is also helping you and I. He is helping all of us. I am not saying I like Trump's personality but I am going to vote for who helps me and my family. The fact is he is improving our job market for my/your/our future as well as our children's. It isn't about voting Democrat or Republican, it is about voting for who will benefit US. Trump is doing that.

reply

I put human dignity and caring above a dollar sign.

reply

And I put a strong future for the future generation above emotion and illogical stances.

reply

Because of course, money and stocks (fictions created by people) mean more than people (real things).

Typical.

And again, I'm a 30 plus year Republican who left the party in 2016 and has a career IN the Financial Services industry. And even I think this path you're on is the path of idiots.

reply

He's a sock account for Thrillhouse. He showed up out of nowhere with a tiny posting history (almost all of which was on this board) and has showed up in every one of Thrillhouse's threads, defending him.

reply

Yeah, I've been asking Trumpers on this forum and other forum "How has Trump made a noticeable difference in YOUR life?" and not one--not ONE Trumper will answer the question. All they do is post stock/economic stats. Nothing more.

In truth--there has been NO difference. They know it. We know it. But, in their desperate bid to support the moron, they post statistics about the economy in hopes that that will be enough.

reply

Government economic stats are manipulated. They don't count the long term unemployed or count food and gas in their inflation stats.

""How has Trump made a noticeable difference in YOUR life?""

I'm not a Trumper, but I can answer by saying he hasn't helped me one iota. If anything, my taxes will likely go up because of the lack of deductions. I know for a fact that many of my Trumper coworkers are angry because their taxes are definitely increasing a lot under Trump. It serves them right for voting for him. Dummies.

reply

Exactly. I haven't seen even the slightest tax break. Whenever I mention this online, Trumpers always say the following (almost as if it's scripted):

-"I have $300 extra a month thanks to Trump!"

-"Get a job, you lib!"

-"It hasn't gone into effect yet."

-"That's because you're on welfare!"

It's like these idiots come off an assembly line or something. I sometimes wonder why these Trumpers all sound the same...until I read Trump's tweets. Wow...Trump sounds just like them! Or rather--his supporters sound just like Trump. It's as if they're transformed their cadences, personalities and psyche to match Trump. Disturbing...

And you're right--his supporters stand to be hurt the most by Trump's economy. The morons quote these stats without realizing that 87% of it helps the rich 1%.

Historically, the poor, uneducated masses always follow and revere the very tyrants who are leeching off them. You'd think in this day and age of internet and wide access to books/learning people would know better but nope--not the case. I have a few colleagues are are intelligent, educated people who voted for Trump. They sound intelligent in any other conversation but, when they start talking about Trump, they seem...not like themselves. No common sense or awareness of the gravity of the situation. I never discuss politics with them and they never try to discuss them with me but my god...to think such intelligent and learned people could genuinely believe some corporate thug like Trump is out for their best interests...

I should note these colleagues of mine are 60+ years old, so...

reply

I totally agree. Unfortunately, I've recently been talking to a few people who don't like Trump (may be Liberal) but still repeat his rhetoric. It's as if they've been hypnotized. Trump is able to tap into people's fears, prejudices and hatred.

A Hispanic guy was ranting about "the caravan" and every fear-mongering nonsense that Trump has been saying about it. I find it ironic that this guy hadn't figured out that Trump doesn't want them here because they're Hispanic.

Another guy said he despised Hillary. When I asked why he couldn't answer at first. Finally, he said because she lies. When I mentioned that Trump lies much more, he denied it. Really? He repeatedly said he didn't like Trump, but he was regurgitating his sound bites or tweets.

It's scary how people allow themselves to be easily manipulated. I notice people appear to wake out of Trump's hypnotic spell when they realize that his policies are personally hurting them.

reply

It's scary how many people can be taken in by such a loud, brash, corrupt, illiterate buffoon.

reply

In the last century when it ws a famous person doing this, he was lauded as an innovator and a genius. Of course, that man was PT Barnum and the people he influenced were rightfully called "rubes".

I'm waiting for Trump to put a tent up on the White House lawn and charge his supporters to see the "Man Eating Chicken"....won't THEY be surprised!

reply

I'm a little ashamed to admit this but I had to look the name up. Wow...Barnum and Bailey Circus, eh? Now all the pieces are coming together.

Several of his quotes sound like a literal gateway into the mind of Donald Trump--especially: ""There's a sucker born every minute". Might as well be referring to the Trumpers.

"an American showman, politician, and businessman remembered for promoting celebrated hoaxes and for founding the Barnum & Bailey Circus"...This is Trump! Just replace "Barnum & Bailey Circus" with "White House Circus".

What a great read.

Still, I have to say--Trump is being given far too much credit being compared even to PT Barnum. At least Barnum created something that truly lasted and stood the test of time. What has Trump created? He inherited all his head and drove all his personal creations (Trump Steaks, Trump U, etc) into the ground.

Still, I understand the analogy you're drawing here and find it brilliant: Trump is truly a showman who knows how to sell his entertainment to the easily-entertained; is dazzling the easily-amused rubes with his fake magic tricks; trotting his clowns (staffers) out to keep them occupied and collecting a hefty profit while essentially doing nothing more than theater for easily-impressed masses who don't know any better. It's all smoke and mirrors but his audience leaves the show happy and content in believing they just witnessed magic when, in reality, they gave their money to a man who was lying through his teeth, showing them what they wanted to see and telling them what they wanted to hear.

Of course, Trump fans will defend this by saying: "Democrats do that, too!".

And sure--they do. Every president is a showman to a certain extent. They have to be in order to get those votes--this isn't in dispute--but theater seems to be the sum of what Donald Trump has to offer. He dazzles his audience with "booming economy" magic tricks, making them think they're that much richer when, in reality, it's a smoke and mirrors act to get his 1% pals richer at the EXPENSE of the Trumper "audience".

In fact, theater is all Trump has ever engaged in. He's a businessman. As much as I hate the man, I must give credit where credit is due: he knows how to sell a line and knows JUST who to target to do so. He really found a niche in these Trumpers. He sold them sh!t, called it gold, and they believed it.

This is one reason why I believe any president SHOULD have some measure of political background beforehand. They elected a businessman and that's exactly how he approaches the presidency. The problem is that he's not just a typical businessman--he's the extra slimy, conman type.

Hopefully, midterms will be favorable so we can finally get the ball rolling on ending this Trump circus.

reply

And he's in no position to "drain the swamp." He and his type are worse than the swamp that already exists. I realize Government is Byzantine and a lot should be done to cut waste, but drastic measures bring drastic consequences. The people that get hurt are the middle and poor class. Trump's no savior, that's for sure, quite the opposite.

reply

That's what I don't understand about Trumpers. They preach all the time about how much they hate "The Establishment" and how "The Establishment" takes their "jerrrbs" and their money and yet they don't seem to realize that they voted FOR "The Establishment"--the very CORE of it, really.

The notion that a bunch of blue collar bumpkins can call a white collar mogul like Trump "one of us" is laughable.

You are the one who's obsessed with hate. That's why do you keep bringing it up? Hate, Hate, Hate, is your agenda.
Try spreading some love once in a while? But that doesn't work for your agenda -- the Other Guys are Spreading Hate !
That's your message - have fun with that.

reply

That's literally the message of EVERY Trumper I've seen. EVERY.SINGLE.TRUMPER has the same message: "But the LIBS!!! But what about Benghazi???"

I literally watched a Trumper on another board today defend the KKK--the K...K...K--by saying: "They were part of the democratic party first!"

That was it. That was their defense. That was their defense of the KKK supporting Trump.

You can't make this sh!t up.

Amen Brother or Sister,
I sure Hope there will be a Groundswell of Goodwill that will rid our Great Country of this Evil Scourge that has enveloped us. At heart, I want to be a Centrist and Independent (that's how I'm registered), but the extremes of the Wrong Wing force me more-and-more to be a straight line party voter.
After Citizens United, we've become an Autocracy, and Trump is the embodiment of that. He bends with whatever issue serves his purpose, his base screams with delight, and the rest of us get a broom handle in the butt. Make America great again for the bullies and short sighted mongers who might win in the short run while the rest of us lose.

The BOOM rolls on, reminds me of the Garth Brooks song.

That boom he heard was him crapping his pants when he realized all his gains were wiped out today, as the DOW tumbled 600 points.

Nope, it was a giant turd, the kind that just won't flush. It will spin around and around leaving skid marks on the bowl and then you have to flush like 10 times to clean it off.

In what way are you personally benefiting from it? Provide examples, please.

Hello? I'm still waiting for an answer to my question. How has Trump's "thunderous" economy made a noticeable difference in YOUR life, personally? Hm? Why can't you answer my question?

Why can't ANY of you Trumpers answer my question? I ask it constantly on more than one site and Trumpers never answer it. You sling these stock/economic stats around so proudly and yet not one of you can answer the very simple question of: How has Trump's economy affected your life personally? It's a simple question. You're so sure of his victory but can't answer such a simple question? Why?
