In 2000, we actually had the budget balanced to the point where we would have a $5 trillion surplus by 2010. That all disappeared when Bush used that future surplus to institute his tax cuts and fund his two wars. Then we got hit with a recession from the financial crisis of 2007.
Republicans and Wall Street... so good at destroying America.
it does not matter to republicans how big the debt is they only care about getting re elected so hoping they don't and we get some younger people in office
