That was entirely due to Obama allowing the floodgates to be opened by instructing his DoJ to work with state governments where he agreed the feds wouldn't enforce federal laws in states that legalized it.

Lol, yeah right. If he cared about the legality of weed so much, he wouldn't have appointed Sessions in the first place. Ever since Sessions has stood in the way of Trump getting rid of the special counsel, Trump has attacked him endlessly. Marijuana is just another avenue for Trump to attack and discredit him.
