Omarosa writes of T-rump's 'mental decline' in her new book
Less than a year since she was booted out of the White House (from a job which was never clearly defined), former T-rump friend Omarosa has penned a book about her year in the White House titled "Unhinged: An Insider’s Account of the Trump White House." The book is to be released on August 14 by publisher Gallery Books, which let out a statement that Omarosa's friendship with T-rump is now history.
In the book, she talks about witnessing T-rump's 'mental decline', most notable during the Lester Holt interview just months after taking office in January, 2017. Omarosa, who first befriended T-rump in 2003, as a contestant on his reality show, writes:
"While watching the interview I realized something real and serious was going on in Donald's brain. His mental decline could not be denied. ... Many didn’t notice it as keenly as I did because I knew him way back when. They thought Trump was being Trump, off the cuff. But I knew something wasn’t right.”
She continues, “Throughout this erratic and contradictory interview, I kept thinking, ‘Oh no! Oh no! This is bad! Donald rambled. He spoke gibberish. He contradicted himself from one sentence to the next.”
Before taking Office, Omarosa made her rounds on TV talk shows telling Never Trump-ers and anyone who opposed him we would soon be
'bowing down' to him. She had free access to the Oval Office for the first six months, able to talk to T-rump whenever she wanted. That changed by the beginning of August, when John Kelly took over as his Chief of Staff - and kept Omarosa far and away from T-rump.By the end of the year, she was gone.
