Trump called Fox News "fake news media" and an "enemy of the people"!!!

Donald J. Trump
@realDonaldTrump
The Summit with Russia was a great success, except with the real enemy of the people, the Fake News Media.

There was even Monday backlash on Fox News, one person going so far as to call it "digusting":
https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/the-fix/wp/2018/07/17/even-fox-news-hosts-were-aghast-after-trumps-summit-with-putin/?utm_term=.957ae849eae3

President Trump’s performance at Monday’s summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin was “disgusting” and “wrong,” Fox News anchor Neil Cavuto said.

Trump's acceptance of Putin’s denials of Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. presidential election was “lame,” Fox News anchor Brit Hume said.

Trump “threw the United States under the bus” in Helsinki, Fox News reporter John Roberts said.

Is there any Real News Media left now?

reply

The board's Trump supporters are getting quieter and posting less and less every day this week!

LOL

reply

You should check out the comments on Yahoo News. The Trumpers there are extra retarded. They just post things like: "TRUMP TRUMP TRUMP TRUMP!", "MAGA!" and "TRUMP 2020". They also call EVERYONE a liberal--everyone who hates Trump is a "liberal" in their eyes.

reply

Yep, I've seen that, and here too. But Yahoo comment sections are extra-entertaining, I go there just to read them.

reply

They're funny, aren't they? They're extra unhinged over there. I've seen them say some of the following things over there:

-"All those illegals should be dumped into a huge hole"

-"They should have shot those mothers and children seeking asylum at the border"

-"I can't wait for the revolution so we can bathe the ground with the blood of liberals"

-"I'm going to drag you and your wife from your home and hang you in the streets when the Civil War arrives"--One of them said that to me directly.

-"You are an Un-American commie!"--Someone said that to me directly when I mentioned over there how I didn't like Trump cozying up to Kim Jong-Un.

There are many others but I'm sure you've seen some of what I was talking about.

It's especially entertaining watching them trying to reason our prices going up as being a good thing. They really bend over backwards over there to defend these trade tariffs.

reply

No,there is no lack of supporters. Unfortunately for some reason there are a majority of butthurt libs that overwhelm this board with their rediculous spin and false, one sided logic. I'm surprised the left doesn't spend more time on the board of their liberal politician of choice supporting the great ideas they have.....oh wait, that person doesn't exist, lol. Also frog, I can't help but notice most of the bitchy libs ignore discussion that is actually sensible and productive,so it makes sense that people with a clue have decided to ignore the bullshit spewing from the biased left.

reply

Come on man, you have no position to talk about sensible and productive discussion. I don't think I've read a single thing like that from you on this board.

reply

Truer words about Burk were never written.

reply

Yawn... You bore me and I get tired of making you look silly with your lopsided logic that any middle schooler can see through. Expect this as my stock reply for every time you reply to me. I can't stand feigned ignorance, and it's even worse when it's real.

reply

Yeah, that's right--invent a way out for yourself, Burk. Considering how cornered you've been in this argument and the growing stupidity of your posts it would make sense that you would resort to this copy/paste response.

You would have been right at home on IMDB if you weren't there already. :)

reply

What's especially hilarious this is the first time he's actually gone out of his way to preemptively spam me with his stock reply.

He typically saves it for whenever I reply directly. He started doing this after falsely accusing me of deleting posts but realized too late that if it were true he'd be able to cite where since frames of self deleted posts don't go away. After I called him out he got so frustrated that forever after he can only respond with his stock cut and paste.

But yeah, he just has a rep of just getting so triggered when he sees his personal idol getting exposed as a fraud that he'll spontaneously make up BS accusations that he can't back up. He did this with Frogarama too. He's a whiny old crank and such a sad snowflake.

reply

Uh oh, he's really getting triggered now cluttering up this thread with his spam.

reply

You sure reply an aweful lot for not reading them? The truth can be tough to deal with sometimes,I understand.

reply

You're about as cookie cutter/assembly line a Trumpers come, Burk. You got the following on the checklist marked off so far:

-"You're a lib!"

-"The left!"

I haven't seen you deflect to Obama and Hillary yet but I'm sure you already have somewhere on this board many times already. Am I correct?

While I can't speak for everyone, I can assure that myself and at least one other poster in here are not liberals.

Most of the world and at least 65% of our country hate Trump. Most rational people would look at that and think: "Maybe they're right". But not you Trumpers--you seem primed and ready to defend him no matter WHAT he does. I've actually seen a few Trumpers on other boards propose that our country should 100% isolate itself from the world. You guys are nuts.

reply

Read my posts. I rarely defend Trump, but I won't look the other way on liberal bias. Maybe learn a little about the person you criticize before making a sweeping generalization about them. You might not be a liberal, but that move is straight out of their playbook.

reply

I am reading your posts--in this thread here now and you sound like a blithering idiot so far from what I've read, LOL!

And you preach about sweeping generalizations when, in the short amount of time we've talked, you summed up in your head that I'm not only a liberal but a racist as well? And YOU are telling ME about sweeping generalizations?

reply

lulz.

Quite the riot isn't he?

He's the guy that tries too hard to project moral superiority while revealing he can't even keep it in his pants.

reply

The problem is you believe there is a Liberal Playbook when the reality is there is a Fox / Trump playbook skillfully crafted to motivate lemmings to get outraged over some imagined liberal bias.
"Liberal bias" is educated people who have studies politics and history and sociology and anthropology and understand society changes -- if for the better we accept it and if for worse we sound the alarm. That's Liberal Bias.
Reactionary Bias is a bunch of people who are easily led to believe they are going to lose all these supposed Freedoms we have because of Liberal Bias. It's a total joke, but because we have a critical mass of easily mis-led fools, now crackpots have credibility. It's absurd.

But keep it up with your superior air. It suits your arrogant attitude which most of the rest of us chuckle at.

reply

I'm sick of Trump, to be honest. I really don't see this guy lasting two terms or, at this point, even one. I used to, though. I used to think he'd be re-elected. I'd lost that much faith in our countrymen. However, the reason I believe Ronald Dump won't be re-elected is not because of voters but because of our politicians.

Up to this point, Ronald has been a "useful idiot" for the republican officials to use to their advantage, get richer, etc. Before they could just spin Ronald's Russia mess as "liberal propaganda". After this summit, however, I wouldn't at all be surprised if they're planning to push him out. He's become too big a liability for them at this point and is coming off the rails. In fact, perhaps this was their plan all along: use him for their advantage and them replace him with Pence.

However, Trump is such a loose cannon that the are fumbling with him earlier than expected.

......Either that or the orange pig will still somehow manage to be re-elected and I'm 100% wrong. Either is possible.

I will say that I've noticed he's growing fatter lately. Fatter, more red-faced (Flamin' Hot Cheeto Puff?" and more lethargic-looking. I thought it was just me but others have stated the same on various articles/forums. This guy may not be able to drag himself along for 6 more years at this rate with mental and physical health deteriorating at this rate.

Oh, and I didn't even mention Mueller. Cohen or any one of the others could roll on Trump. As others have stated, pardons can't be granted for STATE charges so Ronald may not be able to bribe them

reply

[deleted]

I don't WANT him dead.
I don't WANT to kill him.
I DO want to go to the parties if it happens.

I share the exact same sentiment. 100%.

It's strange but I've never felt this way about a president before. I don't even feel this way about too many people, period.

reply

I was in college when Reaguns got shot. Being stupid college kids, we chuckled that it was bound to happen as there was a curse on whatever 20th year Prez since Lincoln met some sort of gun-related peril, and Ray-guns was up to bat.
I personally didn't like Mr. Senility while in office, so I didn't mind that someone took a pop at him. Felt bad for James Brady though. He got the worst of it and he and his wife ended up coming out for more gun control, iirc, which makes total sense.
As a more mature person I know it's wrong to laugh at someone, almost anyone, getting shot, so I don't wish RR had died that day. But I revile him as a President, and that he has a Trump-like following makes me sick to my stomach.
Carter looks like a saint compared to Rayguns, and he gets all kinds of crap from the Reactionary Bias crowd. He and Obama get no respect, yet the Repubs cry, cry, cry, that their idiot leaders aren't given the love that the Liberal Bias media gives Dems.
And the sky is red, and up is down, the world is flat, and immigrants are the biggest problem we have when we have a continually growing income gap, a shrinking middle class, rampant homelessness and mental illness, opioid addiction, garbage and trash choking our oceans and fish. Good lord, just make life better for the well off and all the world's problems will go away -- FOR THEM.

reply

Dude, I just instantly fell in love with your mantra. Truth!

It speaks to me as well.

I will party like it's still 1999.

reply

Way to go bashing someone's physical appearance. You sound really intelligent falling back on that. Hopefully you don't live in a community with people of alternative colors or lifestyle choices than you, because you obviously are so sad you just judge people on their appearance. Can I assume you're a racist and a homophobe too, or do you just show prejudice to people with a different political affiliation than you?

reply

He learned all this from the President.

reply

Hehe. I know right? Burk's the worst kind of hypocrite. Yet he somehow remains blissfully unaware that he lacks the credibility to call anyone out on what Trump does to excess in light of his slavish support of the president.

reply

Apparently, it's OK in Burk's eyes for Trump to call us Americans who don't like Putin "deranged" but it's not OK for us to call Trump a cheeto. That's sound logic, eh?

reply

Indeed. He really does clown himself every time he commits to post. It's hard to understand why he even bothers to pollute these forums anymore given what a transparent hypocrite he is.

Everyone sees through his shtick.

The best is when he gets all worked up and starts lecturing people about how hypocrisy is just something he cannot stand for. It's hysterical. His force of irony could move mountains.

reply

It's always the biggest hypocrites who preach about hypocrisy.

reply

Yup. And it's no surprise this pathology is most prevalent among Trump diehards.

reply

It's definitely part of that propaganda concept where one always accuses their "enemies" of what the accuser is actually doing.

That's one. For number two, I'll list whataboutism.

For number three, calling anything one disagrees with "fake."

Number four will be the new "loyalist" style McCarthyism, where even standing next to the wrong person will result in backlash, something Dolly Parton is all too familiar with recently. This also goes for the shaming and boycotting of anti-Trump Republicans (John McCain getting the worst of it possibly), and labeling anyone else who dislikes Trump a Liberal (although Gd5150 listed McCain as a Democrat just days ago!). I know there are a lot more examples of this.

reply

Holy shit that's definitely a new low! I know one of his cabinet members was pining for his death but I didn't know it was that bad.

If Reagan could somehow come back from the dead he'd vanquish all these shameless fake conservative trump fascists. That would be glorious.

reply

reply

You really do not realize how you are consistently shown to be someone who does not think out their own statements, do you?

Don...is this you?

reply

Yawn... You bore me and I get tired of making you look silly with your lopsided logic that any middle schooler can see through. Expect this as my stock reply for every time you reply to me. I can't stand feigned ignorance, and it's even worse when it's real.

reply

LOOOLZ! You must have hit a nerve for him to start spamming you too.

What a snowflake. He's definitely got donnie's thin skin.

reply

It's typical. When called on hypocrisy, it is Trumps signature tactic to deflect.

Notice how Friday it comes out that his lawyer DID record the conversations Don said never happened and Sunday night/Monday morning, he unleashes another nonsensical tweet storm while on the toilet while trying to work out his weekends worth of cheeseburgers and KFC?

reply

I'm white and Trump is white. Orange is not a race. Orange is not a natural human color. Trump is a dumb white guy who spray tans himself. Therefore, I'm not being a racist by slamming his looks unless you want "Cheeto" to be added to the official list of human races.

Second, my wife is Asian and a naturalized US citizen so again--not racist. Why would I be against Trump if I were a racist? He's the poster child for racism. He's the poster child for anti-immigration.

Third, I'm an independent and don't think of things in terms of party. I really don't care what party a president is--I just want them to be a good president..

Four, as TJ said, I'm only resorting to what your guy does: name-calling based on looks. It's only fair. Trump loves to do it and you Trumpers have no problem with any of it. You defend a guy who is known for constant name-calling and making fun of people's looks. Who are you to preach to me about insulting your guy's looks? What goes around comes around and I'm just giving your cheeto what he richly deserves.

See, the problem with you Trumpers (and Trump) is that you don't seem to grasp a very simple concept: treat people like shit and expect them to return the favor. I'm an American. My president just announced that I and anyone else who doesn't like the fact the he praised a Russian dictator while demonizing our government are "people who have Trump Derangement Syndrome". No rational person thinks like this, let alone SAYS it. He is a president. He has a duty to represent we, the people, as well as our country, its infrastructure, laws, reputation, etc. He chose to go on live TV and tell a foreign dictator who is our enemy that he thinks said dictator is right and our own government is wrong. You're OK with that? I'm sure not. In fact, it ultimately does not matter what our government is like--Trump is president and is supposed to defend our country, its people, its laws and its employees. Not only did he do the opposite of that but he--

reply

--essentially gave us American people who didn't like that the middle finger and called us "deranged".

So, considering the source, I'd say my name-calling is a rather magnanimous gesture considering who I am, what I do with my life and considering who Trump is (our president) and what he does with HIS life (not representing our country's best interests in the face of a foreign dictator).

So you'll have to excuse me if I decide to be a bit critical of the man who holds my life in his hands, holds our freedoms in his hands and who is openly announcing to the world that Vladimir Putin is right and our government (and us citizens who disagree) are wrong.

Need more reasons? I have plenty if you want me to go further. I haven't even begun to scrape the tip of the iceberg, pal.

reply

Very true, Trump does not want to be a public servant. He only serves himself and panders to the worst of his base... The "Very Fine People," for example.

reply

Exactly. I've noticed as well that Trump tends to deflect to Hillary and Obama a lot. Now we know where his supporters get it from. No accountability--just pass the blame off to someone else.

A president without accountability is a dangerous president.

reply

This is a really prescient article written by evolutionary epistemologist Jeremy Sherman for Psychology Today back in 2011, so it obviously wasn't written with Trump in mind. But it addresses this peculiar pathology of politicians that accuse their opponents of their own faults and why blind sheeple continue to support such amoral leaders.

Eerily it couldn't be more appropriate in understanding Trump today. Have a read if you have a moment, it's pretty fascinating.

reply

Hahaha, I'm married to an Asian chick, so I can't be racist? Lol, that's like the typical WASP claiming, "but I have a black friend,so I can't be a racist". Hahaha, good one.

reply

You called me a racist for what I said about Trump. I pointed out FIRST and FOREMOST that I'm white which would make me not a racist for what I said about Trump (unless, like I stated, you consider orange-skinned people to be a race. Oompa-Loompas, perhaps?). I then mentioned my wife being Asian as a secondary piece proof that I'm not a racist.

Even you didn't consider my marriage as proof enough that I'm not racist then surely my original point that I'm...you know...white and that Trump is...you know...white should have been more than enough.

So I again ask you: what makes me a racist for what I stated about Trump?

PS: I noticed you completely and utterly ignored all my points about Trump's name-calling and the Russian summit speech.

PPS: The funny irony about this argument here is that even if I were racist (which I'm not) it still wouldn't change the facts stated about Trump one single iota. You can't strawman yourself out of a debate with me, Burk. :)

reply

I never called you a racist,I asked if you were because you were ok with making opinions on someone based on their appearance. Words have meaning,so read the ones I wrote and apply that meaning. FYI,the little back and forth I've had with you clearly demonstrates your blind hatred, with no logic or thought, particularly after you brag about celebrating if Trump were to die. You have nothing to offer but hate,so I won't waste my breath on you. You've just joined the stock reply I give EYEdouche ,in which I make it clear my opinions on his thoughts. Frog is close, but occasionally he actually has a reasonable thought, but you're done. Good day sir, enjoy your parties celebrating people's deaths.

reply

“Chick”?

So even if you did convince people you weren’t racist (you didn’t), you wanted to lock down misogynist?

reply

Yawn... You bore me and I get tired of making you look silly with your lopsided logic that any middle schooler can see through. Expect this as my stock reply for every time you reply to me. I can't stand feigned ignorance, and it's even worse when it's real.
