Raving Loonies accuse Trump of "treason"!

I'm sure there are hundreds more. Riots when Trump returns. Lobotomies for Liberals!

Tom Steyer Says President Trump Has Committed ‘Treason’
https://www.breitbart.com/california/2018/07/16/tom-steyer-says-president-trump-has-committed-treason/

“Today, Americans and our allies around the world have witnessed the most disgraceful and appalling performance by a U.S. president in our history. The entire world has seen that Vladimir Putin has full control over Donald Trump,” Steyer said, following Trump’s meeting with Putin.

“Trump’s defense of Putin—a known tyrant—at the expense of our intelligence agencies and democratic institutions is nothing less than treason and fully meets the criteria of high crimes and misdemeanors. Trump must be impeached to preserve the fabric of our democracy and the safety of our republic,” he insisted.

John Brennan Urges Republican ‘Patriots’ to Help Impeach Donald Trump After Putin Meeting
https://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2018/07/16/john-brennan-urges-republican-patriots-to-help-impeach-donald-trump-after-putin-meeting/

“Donald Trump’s press conference performance in Helsinki rises to & exceeds the threshold of ‘high crimes & misdemeanors,’ Brennan wrote, hinting at impeachment proceedings.

“It was nothing short of treasonous. Not only were Trump’s comments imbecilic, he is wholly in the pocket of Putin,” he continued. “Republican Patriots: Where are you???”

reply

Trump is Putin's puppet.

reply

No mention in your post of the many Republicans who spoke out as well.

Hell, even Fox News heads were bashing.

reply

Nope, no such thing from Bing/Google!

reply

Ah yes, only looking for the word treason. Yawn.

reply

You back Trump

You use Bing

Wow....I mean, seriously....complete the picture and tell us how Golden Corral is a great place to take your significant other for your anniversary.....

I saw a clip of the Fox Business anchor on CNN berating Trump in his Fox News segment.

Chris Wallace, a Fox News journalist I would say looked disappointed if not dismayed when trying to hand Putin the indictment papers during his interview with him where he brushed it off.

Those were the 2 that I have seen far. Don't know if there were others though.

Satan is only looking for specific mentions of the word "treason."

However, let's see if he addresses my response to the definition of treason down below.

Bing search of "Trump treason" gives 101k results in last 24h. Google does not give count. Almost every result from Lying Libtard Media!

Colbert says Trump's meeting with Putin should count as 'treason'
https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/colbert-trumps-meeting-putin-count-treason/story?id=56633907

“Today has shaken me to my core, and I don't think I need to point out that, at 54, there's not a lot of core left,” Colbert said in his opening monologue on “The Late Show.” "OK, egotism plus naivete times false equivalence equals ... yeah, treason.”

reply

Why is it so outrageous to you? Have you been living under a rock?

Why yes, yes you have.

reply

In a fantasy world, created by Fox Noise and right wing radio.

reply

Exactly.

I mean, what more does one need to see than what happened today?

He literally disregarded the intel assessments of his own handpicked intel chiefs to take the word of a chief adversary. How is he not a traitor? Jesus.

Once again, you lie and post lies instead of truth.

Here's what's on Google's page when I just typed in 'Trump treason':

About 1,400,000 results (0.22 seconds)

You continue to lie to protect the moron.

You should join the rest of us patriotic Americans and call it what it is: TREASON.

First off... Google doesn't give count? Google always gives count.

I just did the search. 19 million without the quotes, 67,000 with the quotes. You must be searching only on a phone or something, huh?

Secondly... You literally claimed to look at "almost every result" of 101,000 links!

I mean you're really specific with this topic, you tell someone to stay on subject if they veer away from the word "treason," so I'm holding you to a standard of literalism.

If you didn't search through almost every result of 101,000 links, then you're being dishonest. Please tell me about how long it took you to look through 101,000 links.

WHen your side has no ideas or solutions you just create constant chaos. The demokkkrat party has no platform. Like we’ve seen 1000x before, yesterday was the end of the world according to the demokkkrat media and their lemmings. And by tomorrow it’ll be something new. It’s astonishing how many times the demokkkrat lemmings have fallen for this pattern. It’s been pointed out to them countless times. Tomorrow it’ll be a new outrage, a new coordinated response. One just has to laugh at the sad level of ignorance.

No, this incident was--or should have been--the final straw that shows what a mistake the Trump presidency is. The leader of our country chose to side with a hostile country and discredited the work of his own intelligence agencies against the advice of everyone working for him and contrary to verifiable proof provided to him two days before this meeting.

Anyone still supporting this dangerous, treasonous cur after this reprehensible performance is either a fool, or a has another agenda that puts their own interests above those of our nation. And in Trump's case, he's both.

reply

Voice of reason! Didn't know Brennan was a fuckin Commie.

https://www.investors.com/politics/editorials/treason-trump-putin-talks/

We don't believe President Trump served his presidency well by meeting with Russian leader Vladimir Putin in Helsinki. It was a summit without an agenda, and as far as we can tell achieved nothing concrete politically or strategically. His performance at the press conference deserves criticism.

That said, the hysterical response from the mainstream media, the Washington leftist power elite and the progressives that are the new de facto rulers of the Democratic Party was so extreme it makes one think they're losing it.

Following Trump's talk with Putin, lefty talking heads exploded with talk of "Treason."

Former CIA Director John Brennan, in particular, sounded like someone in need of intervention in his tweet: "Donald Trump's press performance in Helsinki rises to & exceeds the threshold of 'high crimes and misdemeanors. It was nothing short of treasonous. Not only were Trump's comments imbecilic, he is wholly in the pocket of Putin. Republican Patriots: Where are you???"

Coming from a man who himself once voted Communist and who as one of our top intelligence officials arguably undermined America's war on terror more than any single individual, that's pretty rich. But others were equally bad.

Here's what the Constitution says about treason:

"Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court."

To say this severe outrage is all from the left is just flat out wrong. Joe Walsh is a very staunch conservative voice who has defended Trump in the past but completely broke away from him yesterday. The dam is breaking so to speak and many on the right have seemingly reached their limit with Trump. Here is a series of tweets from former GOP chairman of the House Intelligence committee Mike Rogers:

"The President’s performance yesterday in Helsinki was nothing short of shocking. To ignore the conclusions of our entire intelligence community and simply accept the word of a former KGB officer is a betrayal of our brave intelligence professionals."

"Fact: Russia interfered in the 2016 election.
Fact. Russia continues to launch bold and increasingly aggressive cyber-attacks against our infrastructure.
Fact: Russia actively undermines our interests and those of our allies in Europe."

"To embrace Vladimir Putin as openly as the President did, and in the face of clear Russian provocations, is to fundamentally cede our global leadership to the very person that wants to see America fail."

reply

No mention of"treason". Stay on topic!!!

You really need the word "treason" in there to count this as calling the president's actions an absolute betrayal? Okay dude.

reply

Can't read? I included definition just for Libtards!

reply

Yeah I can read. I can also read between the lines. Thanks for the insult.

In March, Putin showed his people a video of Russia nuking the United States, specifically Florida (where Mar-A-Lago is).

If that's not an enemy, then what is?

Yesterday, a few months after that video, your President is prostrating himself before Putin, agreeing with Putin that the investigation about Putin's regime is a sham, while Putin basically offers to meddle in that meddling investigation.

If thats not adhering to an enemy, and giving them Aid and Comfort, then what is?

Funny how all the Trump supporters are suddenly big fans of autocratic regimes!

Now the Wash Post is sensible! Hell has surely frozen over.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/morning-mix/wp/2018/07/17/treason-in-helsinki-it-doesnt-hold-up/

That was a wise rhetorical de-escalation, as University of Texas law professor Steve Vladeck made clear in a tweet:

.@realDonaldTrump’s disturbing press conference wasn’t “treason,” and it wasn’t, at least to me, “impeachable.”

Trump and treason? “No, not at all,” Carlton F.W. Larson, an expert on the subject at the University of California at Davis, School of Law, told The Washington Post.

“It’s funny,” he said, “because people keep asking me if it’s treason yet. He could hand the nuclear codes over to Putin and it wouldn’t be treason. This isn’t anything as bad as that. Groveling in front of a foreign leader, putting the interests of a foreign country ahead of the United States, displaying horrific judgment in foreign policy — none of those things are treason.”

reply

Nonsense article.

Trump didn't have to refuse to make any criticism of Putin and side with him against our intelligence community. He didn't have to blame the US "stupidity" for our relations with murdering, meddling Putin.

reply

The people who think he's a traitor are just as ignorant, stupid and rediculous as the people who said Obama was a former Black Panther. Just because the person you voted for didn't win, does not give someone a pass for willfull idiocy.

reply

are just as ignorant, stupid and rediculous as the people who said Obama was a former Black Panther.

Or just as ignorant as the ones who questioned his citizenship and demanded his birth certificate, I totally agree!

Too bad one of those ignorant people got elected President.

reply

Yup, I fully agree Trump has said some really dumb shit, but I personally think that was him appealing to future voters, knowing he was going to run in the next election. I'm glad he's a better businessman than a politician, because good politicians have a history of getting nothing accomplished.

reply

I do hope that Trump's long game gets good results. If not, he may ruin things for future political outsiders.

reply

No way! Even if you hate him, you must see how good he is for a new age of candidates. Even if that's the only good thing out of his presidency, I'll take it. Hillary was as paint by the numbers as it gets for politicians, and she lost. Both sides will be reconsidering the old strategy for sure. You watch, we'll start having politicians like Canada and Europe who swear, drink and act human, and nobody gives a shit as long as they do a good job.
