Ugh shit's getting real. For exports this seems like it has the potential to really hit some red states hard.

reply

Yep, a lot of tariffs are aimed at the red states that support drumpf. That's what Canada did for the most part. I think we should do more though.

Hopefully the shortsighted easily manipulated individuals that voted for the the orange megalomaniac will be even poorer in 2020. Give them something to think about, if they ever care to think for more than 2 seconds, if they're even capable might be another obstacle

reply

Not a chance. MAGA is the only way.

reply

Great input to the conversation!

I'm surprised you had time to come up with such a thought provoking response with all your internet sherrif responsibilities!!

We gotta multitasker here people!

Lol

Such an idiot - he gave everyone their big 'tax break' back in the Spring (Wow! The average American will see $20 more in their wallets!) which has been eaten up by the skyrocketing price of gasoline. Now we're going to have to stretch that $20 to cover his "T-rump Tax" too?

Those red state voters will be turning on him in droves.

reply

But will they? If they were so deluded and stupid to back him in the first place, they won't meekly admit they were wrong and stampede in the opposite direction.
We have some seriously entrenched idiots who love Wrong-Wing extremism. They are called Nazis, and they have been empowered.

reply

Worst case scenerio this brief temporary negotiation tactic could cost each American $150. This of course will never happen. $150, Only 650% less than the $1000 Trump tax cut bonus that demokkkrats like Nancy Pilosi called “insignificant”.

Once Trump/China pivot and renogotiate trade deals that have been screwing the US for decades, economic and job growth will skyrocket even more than they already have under Trump. Thats MAGA baby.

No surprise the demokkkrat lemmings can’t piece this together. They haven’t been spoon fed what to think yet.

reply

Oh I know I'm going to regret engaging you but...

What is the basis of your worse case scenario? Where did the $150 figure come from?

And your hashtag, it makes no sense. If you're tired of trump and Mericans winning, does that mean you want them to be losing?

reply

God the sheer ignorance emanating from your posts is mind numbing.

$150? How do you figure when that's completely dependent upon how much a person consumes? Maybe your income limits you to $150. But speak for yourself.

You should try and write one post that doesn't involve fantasy wish predictions for the future. I bet you can't do it.

reply

Your math is insane. "650% less than" is meaningless, and only God knows where that 650% came from.

150, however, is 15% of 1000. There is your percentage.

Learn some maths plz.

Whelp, since US has conducted a trade war with enemies AND allies, looks like no one will be importing raised tariff products from the US anytime soon. China is now looking to import beef and the likes from Europe/Australia etc.

reply

Oh shit, I just bought a Nuclear Reactor on AliExpress. I hope I can cancel the order.

Trump launches new tariffs on China

https://www.cnn.com/2018/07/10/politics/ustr-new-china-tariffs-trump/index.html

$200 billion now

Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer on Tuesday released a list of additional goods that could face 10% tariffs after a public comment period. It includes seafood, fruit and vegetables, yarn, wool, rain jackets and baseball gloves.

The move comes after the United States imposed 25% tariffs on Chinese goods worth $34 billion last Friday. Beijing immediately responded with its own tariffs on US goods worth $34 billion.

The United States is already working on a second wave of tariffs on Chinese goods worth $16 billion. The tariffs announced Tuesday would be the third wave. They would go into effect sometime after August 30.

I don't like Chinese cheap stuff but I do love Chinese food.

Chinese buffet is the best.
