As expected, FOX News now shredding Cohen's credibility

Once the darling of Fox News Network, appearing dozens of times on behalf of President T-rump, Michael Cohen is now "persona non grata" at State TV, since he strongly and clearly hinted to ABC News he's ready to flip on T-rump.

Most of the FOX talk shows stayed clear away from Cohen's 'breaking his silence' to ABC News last night (in which he stuck up for Mueller, the FBI. and the investigation). Yet Harris Faulkner and her 'Roundtable' chuckleheads decided to shoot down his 'credibility' on yesterday's show, which they never, ever had a problem with in the past two years.

“If he knows something that is so important and yet he’s willing to sort of taunt the president by seeming to go against him, what does that say about this person as a witness?” Faulkner asked.

“It gets difficult to kind of even see him as credible at this point. I don’t know what he knows, just based on the way he’s acting.”

Added cohost Abby HUntsman:

“And if you’re willing to give an interview, if you’re willing to speak out publicly like he’s now done and go against the president. I think we should all take that as a signal that he is in a dire situation, grasping for air, wanting any help he can get.”

When cohost Juan Williams ridiculously questioned why he didn't talk about the 'hush money' to Stormy Daniels, Faulkner responded:

“That’s why I question his credibility, because what are his motives?”

So all the times Cohen went on the network and lied through his teeth, his motives were never questioned, and his credibility was never suspect. Now that he's giving an honest interview with ABC, just days before his probable/inevitable indictment, they question his credibility?

Seriously?

I guess T-rump is happy they got the ball rolling.

Did you see the clip of Trump talking yesterday about Cohen and mentioning the word "business" or "businessman" about him a dozen times in about 30 seconds? Evidently Trumpie was coached by someone to refer to him only that way now, and NEVER ever again call him his "lawyer."

When Cohen flips he's going to nail Trump to the wall so hard I almost feel sorry for the poor greedy lying cheating criminal bastard.

Nah--I don't feel sorry for him!

Next it will be: "That man who went get us coffee and donuts? Had nothing to do with my Presidency. Did lots of work for Hannity, though."

Followed by: "I only met him once or twice in my life - barely recall him. Did lots of work for Hannity, though."

Finally: "Michael Who? Never heard of him. Did lots of work for Hannity, though."

More intelligent observers (i.e. not you) have concluded that Cohen is not looking for a deal. Rather, his interview is a not-so-subtle request for a pardon. I wouldn't be surprised if it comes after the Midterms.

Forget my other response, what I really love is your quiet celebration of the idea that Trump could protect himself by abusing the powers of his office.

You'd enjoy that, for him to basically admit that he's avoiding justice, wouldn't you?

But wouldn't that joy make you a traitor too? I doubt you care. Right and wrong are probably no longer important to you.

reply

"Right and wrong are probably no longer important to you."

Yep, those are inconsequential things to the average Trumpbot--it's all about WINNING, no matter what it takes. Things like morality, ethics, the Law...those are secondary or downright ignorable to them.

reply

The Russia investigation was motivated by a deeply racist conspiracy theory about "Russians" secretly controlling elections. It's reminiscent of Nazi conspiracy theories about Jews secretly controlling the world. Despicable stuff.

reply

No it's not about Russia "controlling" elections, it's about Russia manipulating the election.

There's a difference between controlling and manipulating.

Sad that this needs to be clarified. Sad, just hugley bigly sad stuff!

reply

T-rump has completely distanced himself from this guy since the FBI raid. Cohen knows this, and knows he can't trust T-rump with a pardon. Can't even trust him to pay his legal bills!

So he'll flip for the feds, get a light sentence for his cooperation, and watch T-rump spend his twilight years in prison.

reply

More daydreaming.

reply

See it as daydreaming - so why is StateTV so worried they have to shred his credibility?

reply

If Cuomo loses re-election, it'll be to Cynthia Nixon, and it's a big if. There's not a chance in hell that he or she pardons Cohen.
