4 million Cohen files to be handed over to Federal Prosecutors
More than 4 million files seized on the FBI raid of Michael Cohen, the sometimes personal lawyer of T-rump, will be handed over to Federal prosecutors no later than midnight on Wednesday, according to orders by federal Judge Kimba Wood.
Federal prosecutors can start analyzing those files, as they comb through Cohen's financial dealings - especially payments to porn star Stormy Daniels, who said she had an affair with T-rump in 2007, and she was paid 'hush money' before the election.
On Monday, lawyers for Cohen said of the 4 million files, there's about 12,000 files they felt was protected under 'attorney client' privileges. They also asked Judge Wood to set aside 22,000 more documents they claim the T-rump Organization needs more time to analyze, to which Wood agreed - and told them they have until July 5 .
It's going to be a long and bumpy weekend for Cohen.
