T-rump wants GOP to stop wasting time on immigration!

Now that T-rumps policy of “ forcibly separating immigrant families and abusing the toddlers in cages” was a complete failure, T-rump has told Rethuglikkkans to stop wasting time on a “ comprehensive immigration bill “ and concentrate on getting re-elected in November.

Yes, now that the damage has been done to the reputation of every Republican in Congress thanks to the Great Dictator, it’s time they cleaned themselves off and try to win re-election. Immigration? Who cares? ( Melania doesn’t).

Yes that’s how you cope with failure.

Stop wasting time on working on a comprehensive immigration bill & get elected instead?

Well? That's the strategy that works for the GOP.

See, if the GOP House & the GOP Senate & the GOP Executive actually PASS a comprehensive immigration bill then they can't CAMPAIGN on the immigration issue.

Then they won't be able to froth up their mobs with their hysterical rhetoric like: "They're INFESTING our country! STEALING jobs! RAPING our bot boys! Be VERY afraid!"

Then there's the irrational "The Democrats want open borders!" talking point. This one's tricky because they also need to blame the family separations on the Democrats. And as Rethugs here on this board have pointed out - what's NEEDED for these miscreant families is a HARSH PUNISHMENT for crossing our border illegally. And as noted above, the DEMS are the ones responsible for passing the family separation law.

What Trump doesn't want to admit is that he's incapable of having an honest discussion on the topic.

Once again proving that there's NO art in any of Trump's deals.
