"Hair Furor" like Herr Fuehrer .... Adolf Hitler Hahahaha!!!!

I read this somewhere today and thought it was hilarious.

We should all start referring to Donald Trump as Hair Furor
and raising our right arms and saluting by putting two
fingers under our noses like John Cleese on Fawlty Towers!

Yes Hair Furor, No Hair Furor, anything you say Hair Furor !!!

I think that would ridicule this poser out of office in a matter
of weeks if not days.

Remember back in the old days when any mention of Hitler caused liberals to stand up and sanctimoniously point out Godwin's Law?

There are many corollaries to Godwin's law, some considered more canonical (by being adopted by Godwin himself)[3] than others.[1] For example, there is a tradition in many newsgroups and other Internet discussion forums that, when a Hitler comparison is made, the thread is finished and whoever made the comparison loses whatever debate is in progress.[7] This principle is itself frequently referred to as Godwin's law.[8]

Then Trump was elected and they forgot all about it.

I've never compared Trump to Hitler, although I have compared his supporters to Nazis as that particular comparison has way too many similarities to ignore.

Hitler was an evil genius; Trump is a blustering clown. l'm just thankful that our government has more safeguards in place to guard against little would-be dictators like Trump (and his base of morons who'd gladly follow his lead) than Weimar Germany did in 1933.

reply

I've never compared Trump to Hitler

Your personal opinion doesn't interest me. Many liberals have compared him to Hitler.

As for Trump supporters being Nazis, that's just a liberal delusion. It's liberals who want to limit free speech, confiscate guns, publicly support the assassination of the sitting democratically elected leader, use the power of the IRS against their political opponents, and use the power of the Press to undermine elections. There's even evidence Obama's FBI worked against the election of Trump.

In typical liberal fashion, the liberals are actually guilty of what they accuse the Right of doing.

reply

Ummm "liberal delusion"? Trump supporters chanting "Blood and Soil" whilst carrying tiki torches. This was a key slogan of nazi idealogy.

Try again spinmaster

reply

Trump supporters chanting "Blood and Soil" whilst carrying tiki torches.

And liberal Antifa chanting "Kill the police" while brutalizing and burning.

See? We call all be judged by the lunatic fringe.

Moron.

reply

You're absurd, 100,000's of Americans died fighting the Nazis and now idiots like you support the very same ideology.

Sure Antifa has its radical elements but what they are protesting has merit; institutional injustice.

What your tiki torch carrying, nazi slogan chanting pieces of shit are doing has no merit whatsoever outside of racist ideology

Have fun you out to lunch crackpot, a rebuplican wrote, "the elite winners write the policy [republican], while the poor losers provide the votes" winners/losers in the context of globalization. Did you help write the policies you vote for or are you just one of the losers?

reply

And liberal Antifa chanting "Kill the police"

Are you confusing Antifa with the SUPPOSED video of Black Lives Matter marchers doing that?

The video itself is questionable, some have claimed the audio is overlayed and the chant was never heard anywhere but that video, and even still, the ones supposedly chanting were a small group that wasn't connected with BLM.

Or are you referring to something completely different?

reply

There's something really 'off' with people comparing anyone to Hitler and finding humor in doing so. That's a new low - especially if it is coming from a liberal.

His supporters are indeed neo-Nazis, as they've self-described themselves as such on more than one occasion. The Neo-Nazis have fully supported T-rump publicly, and he welcomed their support. But calling him "Hair Furor" and finding humor in that is really a step too far. It brings people down to the level of the Neo Nazis.

reply

That's a new low - especially if it is coming from a liberal.

Have you been asleep for the past year and a half? Nothing new about liberals comparing Trump to Hitler. It's what liberals do best - call people names. Honest and intelligent debate? Not so much.

Hey SnagsWolf... How about some reality, then?

-Trump "jokes" about trying a "President for life" scenario in the U.S.
-Trump suggests to James Comey that he is considering jailing journalists for publishing leaks.
-Trump remarks that White Nationalists have some "very good people" in their ranks.
-Trump retweets a Mussolini quote.
-Trump attacks NFL players for "disrespecting" the Anthem and threatens tax penalties against the NFL in retaliation.
-Trump suggests NFL players who don't stand for the Anthem shouldn't even be citizens.

Your use of Godwin's Law is simply to hand-wave away COMPLETELY APPROPRIATE COMPARISONS.

Wow. You have Trump 'jokes', 'suggests', 'remarks', 'retweets', and 'attacks'. None of that is Trump actually 'doing' anything.

All it is, is liberal fear-mongering, trying to make people scared of what Trump might do.

Meanwhile, as I said, it's liberals who want to limit free speech, confiscate guns, publicly support the assassination of the sitting democratically elected leader, use the power of the IRS against their political opponents, and use the power of the Press to undermine elections. There's even evidence Obama's FBI worked against the election of Trump.

Those are actual fascist acts perpetrated by liberals. Not the fantasy bullshit you're making up about Trump.

reply

LOL!

Just the fact that you think "liberals" want to "confiscate guns" is enough to demonstrate your B.S.

Publicly support assassination? Wasn't that one person's ignorant comment? Or is that "liberals"?

Undermining elections: https://www.motherjones.com/politics/2018/04/top-republican-official-says-trump-won-wisconsin-because-of-voter-id-law/

Republicans push the false "voter fraud" narrative so they can do crap like that.

Election officials and Democrats in Wisconsin have repeatedly argued that the state’s strict voter ID law allowed Donald Trump to win the state in 2016 by keeping thousands of voters—predominantly in Democratic-leaning areas—from the polls. Now a top Republican official in the state is saying the same thing.

reply

In District of Columbia v. Heller all of the liberal judges ruled against the Second Amendment protecting the right of an individual to own guns. One more liberal on the court, and we would have lost the Second Amendment.

If you think it's only one person calling for Trump's assassination, you've had your head stuck up your ass for the past two years.

Ooh, MotherJones. I'm going to take that liberal rag seriously.

As for Democrats demanding that blacks can't come up with ID to vote, you should watch this. It's pretty funny.

Did you just suggest fake news? Here's another option.

http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/sns-bc-wi--attorney-general-voter-id-20180413-story.html

Republican Attorney General Brad Schimel suggested President Donald Trump wouldn't have won Wisconsin and GOP Sen. Ron Johnson wouldn't have won re-election in 2016 without the state's voter ID law.

reply

As for DC v. Heller, that was in regards to a local law in DC specifically, which has a "special status as a federal district."

It was also not about gun confiscation, it was about handguns and legally-owned gun storage:
District of Columbia v. Heller, 554 U.S. 570 (2008),[1] is a landmark case in which the Supreme Court of the United States held that the Second Amendment protects an individual's right to possess a firearm unconnected with service in a militia for traditionally lawful purposes, such as self-defense within the home, and that Washington, D.C.'s handgun ban and requirement that lawfully-owned rifles and shotguns be kept "unloaded and disassembled or bound by a trigger lock" violated this guarantee. It also stated that the right to bear arms is not unlimited and that guns and gun ownership would continue to be regulated.

Guns in general were not banned in DC under the "Firearms Control Regulation Act of 1975" which was challenged in this case.

You forgot him wanting a military parade, tanks and all, coming down Pennsylvania Avenue. The same kind of parade people like Stalin, Kruschev, Kim, Hussein and other charming people have demanded.

You also forgot his desperate need to try and squash the media when they report on things he says (and sorry, Faux News lovers....most of the time they play the video of the WORDS coming out of his mouth or show the tweets that HE wrote) and disparaging a free press.

Both of those are hallmarks of dictators.

reply

Yeah, I need to create at topic where we can contribute to this list and make it comprehensive.

Thanks for reminding me of those, there's just so much...

reply

But see, his supporters ignore that because they got an extra 3 bucks in their paycheck. "Screw the country, I can get me some NASCAR swag!"

No, more like Trump was elected and Mike Godwin said all bets were off:

"By all means, compare these shitheads to the Nazis. Again and again. I'm with you."

Mr Godwin has said before that he is fine with Nazi comparisons, so long as they are thought-out and historically informed. At the Charlottesville rally, protestors carried Swastika flags and made Nazi salutes.

"If you’re thoughtful about it and show some real awareness of history, go ahead and refer to Hitler or Nazis when you talk about Trump," he wrote in the Washington Post late last year. "Or any other politician."

He went on to make clear that he thinks that references to the Holocaust and other Nazi crimes are legitimate and can be helpful, in some cases.

reply

Yes, it's hilarious how nagsheep has been so cowed into silence when the best he could do is cite the obsolete and antiquated Godwin's law.

Hair Furor would not be happy with the newfound reticence of such a devoted disciple if he even knew who he was.

reply

As a follow-up to my previous post, and since I'm currently chuckling about Mike Godwin himself giving his blessing to any Trump-Nazi comparisons, I also want to add:

Trump's xenophobic attacks on immigrants and stoking immigration fear -- Another Hitler tactic, specifically pointing out crimes committed by immigrants.

There's a reason Trump's opponents are so worried. This strategy — one designed to single out a particular group of people, suggesting that there's something particularly sinister about how they behave — was employed to great effect by Adolf Hitler and his allies. In the 1930s, the Nazis used a similar tactic to stir up anger and hatred toward Jews. Professor Richard Weikart of California State University explained that Nazi leaders used different kinds of communication tools to sell the message that “Jews are criminal by disposition,” as a 1943 Nazi directive to the German press put it. “The Jews are not a nation like other nations but bearers of hereditary criminality,” the order said. Germany, in other words, was out of control, and only Nazi anti-Semitic policies could “restore order.”

"Trump's xenophobic attacks on immigrants"

More liberal lies. Trump attacks illegal immigration. Why can't you morons comprehend that?

Or are you just so fucking dishonest you can't admit it?

More liberals lies. He never called all immigrants rapists. You morons have been trotting out this lie for two years now.

"When Mexico sends its people, they're not sending the best. They're sending people that have lots of problems and they're bringing those problems. They're bringing drugs, they're bringing crime. They're rapists and some, I assume, are good people, but I speak to border guards and they're telling us what we're getting."

You idiots read that and think he's calling all Mexicans rapists. Learn to fucking read.

So, by him saying that, you think he's giving his blessing to ANY Trump-Nazi comparison?

Seriously?

Are you really that fucking stupid?

If they're historically informed, and I've been giving direct, informed comparisons. I notice how you overlook that part.

So you don't know what xenophobic fear-mongering is, good to know.
