Since GD5150 thought digging up this post from a month ago would somehow prove I made a false prediction when I hadn't. I was only describing what had just transpired. The summit at that time had been canceled after NK said they would never give up their nukes.
But it's just as easy to argue that Trump got played now as it was back then, so based on the facts it's hard to understand why this post does anything but vindicate my original point.
The reality is that Trump got nothing:
1) What North Korea agreed to is much less than it has agreed to in other NK-US engagements and agreements over the last 25 years.
2) Getting nothing, Trump further conceded an end to US-South Korea military exercises.
3) He also gave the North Koreans a major diplomatic victory by appearing in a major international summit on equal terms with the United States. Trump is showering their dictator with lavish over-the-top praise!
The takeaway is that we are more on the road to accepting North Korea as a nuclear weapons state than making any realistic progress to eliminating those weapons.
He either got played or played himself. So my original point stands.
Original post:
I was really rooting for him on this and it really sounded too good to be true. And alas, of course it was.
Because this is Trump after all, he couldn't get it done before first patting himself on the back and fucking it all up.
The reality of this post is all it does is display the OPs ignorant hatred. It’s not based in any facts, just the usual democrat hate. As he admits it’s just prediction. Well as usual he was completely wrong. Yet it makes a claim of getting played.
In order for Trump to have been played he would’ve had to given up something. Like when democrat jimmy carter gave NK 900 million. Or when Obama gave Iran 150 billion. Including a billion in small bills In the middle of the night When he thought no one would notice.
Trump simply sat down to start the process. Extend an olive branch. Trump has given nothing. Even the postponement of SK war practice is empty. If Kim were to do anything considered an act of nuclear war, the retaliation will come from the nuclear subs we have parked off the coast. We don’t need soldiers to wipe NK off the map.
The process has been started. Leftwingers like the OP are simply expressing their usual ignorant hate. Hopefully this leads to peace and prosperity for North and South Korea. For Democrats control is more important than peace. So they’ll continue to express their hate filled anger as long as Trump is president. For them political power is far more important than peace or prosperity.
This is no surprise as they are the party of no ideas, no solutions. Just obsessive hate and anger.
My original post and what I originally said is underneath my update.
When you have to invent fiction to criticize me it reveals you're trying way too hard. You're the perfect example of conservative hypocrisy and a lack of reading comprehension skills.
All you need to do is scroll up to see I didn't delete anything.
Hint: I even spelled it out with a line that says "Original post:" so there could be no mistaking where the original post starts and my update ended. Jesus you're thick.
So sad, weak, and bitter. A perfect example of a trumpanzee who can't admit when he gets it wrong. So typical of the rank and file right.
Saw you do this with Frogarama the other day too. You just started making up outrageous crap about him and couldn't admit that you got it wrong.
You trumptards have projection of your own character flaws down to a science don't you? You keep embarrassing yourself by accusing me of shortcomings you showcase yourself in the very same post. This is the 3rd time you've done this now. 😆
You clearly have some sort of learning disability of some kind.
You're also hilariously too dense to understand that when you're in a hole, you should stop digging.
Original post is the text itself ,not you. Don't try and steer away from the fact that you are a liar who deletes his own replies when someone makes you look stupid....which is easy and often. Nice try with your "I don't understand what you mean". Don't delete your shit ,and you won't get called out on it.
LMAO! You might just be the front runner for the biggest tool on this board.
You're clearly not the sharpest tool in the drawer when apparently even after 1000+ posts here you're too stupid to know that when you delete your own posts they don't actually go away. They're just marked as deleted in the body of the post, but the post itself along with its headers that implicate authorship remains.
So you should be able to prove it by pointing to exactly where I deleted my own comments.
But of course you can't because they don't exist. Instead you keep clowning yourself with your insipid stupidity. It's so satisfying to watch! 😆
I always liked you Culburn because you appeared to be refreshingly honest as to why you supported Trump. He was your guy, through thick and thin, facts be damned. The legitimacy of the investigation into him didn't seem to matter to you, all that mattered was that he battled his way out of it and prevailed. At least that's what I thought your approach was.
So are you saying I was wrong to think that?
You're making me second guess everything I thought made you a decent person Culburn. Don't tell me you're one of those delicate trump supporting snowflakes who dishonestly pretends to care about facts. That's what Fox News does, I thought you said you wouldn't be caught dead watching them.
Truth and facts aren't dependent on political ideology. Steve Schmidt just left the Republican party today due to GOP support for a president who has no regard for truth and facts. Your rank tribalism is primitive.
The hilarious part is how you're now engaged in deleting your own posts you get wrong on THIS VERY THREAD. Your hypocrisy is pathetic. 😨
Not a good excuse? You said triggered?Jesus, your smack is so weak.I own your ass on a daily basis. It's gotten to the point that it is too easily done and starting to bore me. Your inability to grasp the concepts from a higher intelligence does not constitute incoherent babbling.
lulz. You started babbling incoherently awhile ago when you started playing the victim card crying about being robbed. I just find your dementia mildly amusing at this point.
Nothing good came from the summit. All it did was legitimize Kim and let him have his big moment meeting with the leader of the US as equals. Major blunder by Trump.
Poor eyedef obsessed with trump hate, confirming his ignorance thinking peace deals take 5 minutes.
- Reagan/Gorbachev met in Reykjavik in October 1986.
- “Mr Gorbachev, tear down this wall” - Ronald Reagan June 1987
- The Berlin Wall opens November 1989.
Reality speaks for itself. As does eyedefs stupidity.
Show where Reagan made unilateral concessions to Gorbachev at Reykjavik in 1986. He didn't. Unlike Trump, Reagan wasn't a blistering idiot.
Again Trump got less from NK than what it's agreed to other times in the last 25 years.
He conceded an end to US-SK military exercises and gave NK a diplomatic victory by putting them on the path of normalized relations without NK agreeing to give up an iota of their nuclear arms. All while showering Kim with unearned praise.
Trump made unilateral concessions to NK? Hmmm strange considering all of the sanctions are still on.
Postponing war games with SK ooooooo boy that’s really going to help NK get the nukes. Haha!!!!!!!!!!
Did he give NK a billion dollars and heavy fuel oil? No that’s was demokkkrats Carter and Clinton. Did he give NK 150 billion? No that was Obama to Iran.
Once again eyedef proving himself to be clueless. Well done lemming. Well done. Post often.
Gee, it took you a whole week to get your script and talking points off Fox and breitbart to come up with that?!
Very sad.
Dude I hate to break it to you, but NK ALREADY HAS NUKES. So once again your talking points fail you when you don't even have a handle on basic facts.
You didn't even know the whole point of the summit was to get North Korea to GIVE UP their nukes, not to get nukes they already have. Unilaterally shutting down military exercises does not achieve that. So fail.
You're also apparently not aware that the US president meeting with Kim at a summit confers status and legitimacy to his regime. This is fine so long as he's agreeing to hard targets to give up his nukes. But did that happen? Nope. So this is another fail on basic international negotiations 101. The Art of the Dud by Hair Furor:
And just so you know, the whole point of the Iran nuclear deal was to get Iran to GIVE UP their nuclear program by submitting their regime to stringent verification by random IAEA inspections and 24/7 satellite and real time video monitoring. That's what Iran did. Now that Hair Furor ripped up the agreement, the Ayatollah has ordered his regime to begin uranium processing again.
So that's a double fail by Hair Furor. He put NUCLEAR North Korea on a path to international legitimacy with the summit and puts Iran on the path of being a nuclear power by ripping up the Iran deal.
Facts matter, that's why your ignorance is hilarious and you still have no argument. 😏
NK has nukes? Is that the same fantasy world in which Russia rigged our election?
I guess we can blame Obama’s incompetence and laziness for letting that happen.
Back to reality. Fortunately we have a pro American as president who’s working to make America and the world safer. And the world is supporting his efforts. Unfortunately it took several decades to get here, and it’s going to take more than 5 minutes to undo what’s been done. Only the most ignorant dumbass would think otherwise.
Temporarily postponing war games with SK is a good faith effort. It means absolutely nothing to us. And it’ll even save our country money. Haha!!! Trump and America wins again.
A whole week, wow thanks for noticing. Someone clearly needs to leave the basement and gat a life. In an effort to make eyedefs life great again I’m going to make him wait 2 weeks for my next response. Or perhaps til the next sit down with NK. I’d tell you to stay tuned, but we already know you will ;) You’re welcome. TTFN
But its not like its been any secret either when the whole point of the summit was supposed to be to get them to GIVE UP their nukes.
Has that dim bulb above your head started going on yet?
If it ever does, you might want to get up to speed on Russia too. You've got a lot of catching up to do in the real world. Facts matter, that's why you perpetually fail.

Sometimes inaction is better than action when what you're doing only makes it worse. North Korea now has legitimacy where it was formerly treated as an international pariah exiled from the global community. Kim just received a hero's welcome visiting China for successfully negotiating being brought in out of the cold by Trump. US might still have its sanctions on NK in place but now with the big green light from Trump do you think China feels any pressure to keep sanctions focused on NK?
Nope. None whatsoever.
So what incentive will NK have to give up their nukes now? Zero, nada, zilch.
The legitimacy of normalized relations are supposed to be conferred as a reward AFTER NK agrees to hard targets of surrendering its nukes. This is basic common sense. You don't reward legitimacy and come home empty handed because that is what is called an EPIC fail.
You bring up a valid argument. Is it better to try and fail then to not try at all?
I would rather Trump or any other President to try and denuke NK and bring peace to the Korean Peninsula than to not try at all.
It took 2 years after the speech by Reagan for East and West Germany to be united. I suppose it would have been better if he had never tried.
It took 2 years after the Emancipation Proclamation for the slaves to be freed by the Union Army in 1865. I suppose it would have been better if Lincoln had never tried.
I suppose it would have been better if the founding fathers have never tried to separate from England and create a new Nation.
Because like you said sometimes inaction is better than action. But sometimes things get worse before they get better.
You appear to be under wrong the impression that neither Obama nor Bush before him tried to negotiate with North Korea when both tried and failed. The negotiations actually were quite public under Bush late in his 2nd term.
The difference is Trump turned the whole thing into a photo op for NK's coming out party of normalized relations by holding a summit while getting nothing in return. Meanwhile, neither Obama or Bush were going to be conceding the PR coup out of the gate by giving NK a summit unless they made hard concessions.
So are you more satisfied with Trump's failed efforts just because he's been more public about it?
It's not just that he's been more public about his failed efforts, he's also put NK on an irreparable path to nuclear legitimacy that will make it difficult for any future president to reverse. So as nice as it would be to say, hey no harm no foul because he made the effort, the permanently squandering of our negotiating position is pretty difficult for me to overlook. But we'll see how it plays out.
The myth of him being a great negotiator is built on a pack of lies, so the NK summit was just him staying true to form.
His talent is in marketing and the art of the con. He understands the principle that a fool and his money are soon parted and intuitively knows how to exploit the easily exploitable. It's as instinctive as breathing for him. I'll give him props for that.
Since the 1950's North Korea has been wanting to be taken seriously on the world stage. The North Korean leaders have had penis envy watching South Korea thrive as a manufacturing hub, watching other nations enter the 21st century when they can't keep lights on at night.
Decades of human rights abuses have been recorded there.
And Trump's takeaway is that KJU is some terrific, terrific guy, very smart, very powerful, a really great leader for his people.
