What's wrong with defending ourselves? It's not like every gun owner is a crazy murderer. Also, there are many places in the world where the same gun policies as they do in Australia, Britain, etc, and they're not doing so great. Mexico is an example, even in the city of Chicago, where they have high crime rates, disarmed people, and armed criminals. Yeah, not always so great. I doubt these same laws will work in this country, especially with a big population. It's not like criminals will stop using guns to kill people, because they won't sadly, and people will be defenseless against them. How about you think about that next time before assuming guns are bad, because that's what you seem to think.
