Fearful T-rump lawyers want to stop 'Stormy' interview on 60 Minutes
In a move smacking of fear and desperation, T-rump's lawyers are working overtime today in trying to stop '60 Minutes' from airing a new interview with Stormy Daniels, rumored to be on tonight's broadcast. The interview was conducted this week with correspondent Anderson Cooper.
According to insiders at the White House, “We understand from well-placed sources they are preparing to file for a legal injunction to prevent it from airing.” Trump's attorney Michael Cohen did not comment on the report, and referred questions to other lawyers, who did not comment.
Daniels' lawyer Michael Avenatti has shared the news on his Twitter account, which has hadded thousands of followers over the past week.
CBS said the interview is scheduled to air, but wouldn't specify a date. On Friday evening, CNN's Anderson Cooper told viewers the interview would air tonight.
