Josh Raffael says 'see ya' to Jarvanka
Apparently wiped out from winning, Josh Raffael - White House senior communications official and crisis manager for Jarvanka - has given his notice he's leaving the White House in the next 60 days. The former Hollywood PR executive said he wants to return home to his family in NY and rejoin the private sector.
Said Ivanka Trump in a statement, "Josh is honest, passionate and thoughtful. Whether it was offering strategic guidance on the communications for tax reform or a foreign trip, Josh's guidance was invaluable. The White House won't be the same without him."
Kushner asked Raffael to join the White House in early 2017, and named him the manager of communications for the Office of American Innovation. Raffael quickly stepped up to become the couple's 'crisis manager' who oversaw their media relations. Raffael previously did the same for the couple in NY when he worked as their crisis manager for crisis PR firm Hiltzik Strategies.
"I probably talk to Josh 30 times a day," White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said last summer. "I certainly wouldn't say he's doing personal PR, but he handles a lot of things in [Kushner and Ivanka Trump's] portfolio."
Tired of Russia winning.
