Trump omits and distorts key facts in a tweet about omitting and distorting key facts

On Saturday Trump tweeted:

'“Congressman Schiff omitted and distorted key facts” @FoxNews So, what else is new. He is a total phony!'

The tweet seems to be quoting Fox News which it is, except it omits 5 key words. The actual quote from Fox news' Molly Line was:

“Congressman Schiff, he argues the Republican memo omitted and distorted key facts, that it was initially meant to meant to mislead the public,”

So Molly Line was simply saying Schiff's memo alleged that REPUBLICANS omitted and distorted facts in their memo and Trump either stupidly misunderstood her or intentionally distorted her words. So the choice is either he's too stupid to verify something before posting it on his twitter page or he's blatantly lying. Kind of a toss up really...
