Mueller racks up 50 more indictments against T-rump campaign officials

Rob Mueller's special investigation into 'Russian interference' is turning up more heat under T-rump, as he brought 18 new charges against T-rump's former campaign manager Paul Manafort yesterday and an additional 32 against his aid Rick Gates. Prosecutors uncovered a scheme in which the two allegedly laundered $30 million, failed to pay taxes for almost 10 years and used real estate they owned to fraudulently secure more than $20 million in loans.

The new indictments, which face a $1M fine and 30 years in prison for both men, puts the pressure on Manafort to flip like a pancake, and strike a 'plea deal' with Mueller.

As for Gates, he's been negotiating a plea deal to flip since the beginning of February, according to sources. He has retained defense lawyer Tom Green, who has been working with Mueller's team for the past month to score a plea deal and flip Gates. An offer was presented to Gates earlier this week, it was reported, but Gates rejected it.

So tired of Russia winning.

One thing Trump needs to accept is that the Russia investigation is not going away any time soon and all these new charges is likely only the beginning.

reply

He REALLY needs to accept this. Even IF he and his campaign turn out to be absolutely blameless of collusion, Trump has been obstructing justice with wild abandon. From firing Comey to his demands of loyalty to threatening Sessions to telling Steve Bannon what questions he can and cannot answer and then advising him to inaccurately claim executive privilege....

And if it turned out Trump and his campaign had nothing to do with the Russians (it's a big if, but it is there)....that makes him even more idiotic. Because there was no need to shoot himself in the foot over this.

reply

The more T-rump and his cronies keep saying 'there's nothing here', the more that is uncovered. He must face the fact that just because he says it out loud, doesn't mean it's true.

SO tired of Russia winning.

reply

Those indictments have nothing to do with their work on the Trump campaign. Try again.

reply

Serious question; if Mueller eventually implicates Trump in wrong doing, will you accept that or still support Trump? I ask because to the average person there is a lot wrong with the way Trump is behaving in regards to Russia. Is there anything you can be presented with that will make you change the way you feel about Trump?

reply

Hehe. I take his silence to mean that his answer to that question is a resounding NO. Cultists generally have an unshakable faith in their leaders so that's really not surprising.

reply

"Those indictments have nothing to do with their work on the Trump campaign. Try again."

Because you know exactly what Mueller is up to, and where this is leading? Or are you just doing some wishful thinking?

Me thinks it's wishful thinking - the desperate kind.

reply

It's leverage.

Conspiracy against the United States

Ongoing while serving on Trump campaign

Worked for Trump for free, despite going around trying to get huge bank loans at the time they took the Trump jobs.

Trumpsters are like mothers of ugly babies. Blind love. Lost causes.

You should try to write complete sentences next time.

Sorry it confused.

Have hope. Best of luck.

How is the prosecution of Putin's chef coming along? LMFAO

Mueller's investigation is a waste of time that will only sweep up Manafort (who is dirty) and some small fish. has to get someone, because can't spend that many millions and come away with nothing. Will it touch Trump? Absolutely not. Only those who are so blinded by partisanship they force themselves to be willfully ignorant of bald-faced facts would ever think this threatens Trump in the least.

reply

Perhaps you're right. But if that's true, then Trump is truly a moron because the only thing his constant whining and deflecting to Hillary, Obama, democrats, etc. is doing is making him look like he's hiding something big. The fact that he failed to implement the Russian sanctions also looks bad. The fact that he publicly gave Putin the benefit of the doubt while openly doubting his own Intelligence is perhaps the most telling of all his unusual behavior. I honestly don't know where Meuller's investigation is going to end up but I wouldn't speak with such certainty that Trump is going to remain unscathed.

reply

Small fish? You do realize you start at the lowest hanging fruit and make your way up the tree in investigations like this? He started with George Pap and made his way up to Flynn, Manafort, and Gates - none of those three are exactly 'small fish'.

Again, in less than a year (and much less money) he got more indictments and plea deals than Kenneth Starr ever did from 1994-98.

reply

Mueller could find irrefutable proof that Trump laundered money for Russian oligarchs, and it still won't threaten Trump. Mueller could find Trump wiring money to Putin along with a voicemail message asking for help with the election, and it still won't threaten Trump. Trump is bulletproof because the alt-right currently exists. If today's alt-right existed in 1974, Nixon would not have resigned. Pretty much the only two things that will impeach Trump are rape and murder convictions, neither of which are part of Mueller's investigation.

The end goal is not impeachment though, and never was. The democrats (and many republicans) want Trump to be a one-term president which they have probably already succeeded at doing. Can't blame the democrats either. They are merely using the republican's Benghazi playbook. The difference is there is real criminal activity here, unlike with Hillary who was only found guilty of having a private email server that was actually Russia proof. That was used to cast enough doubt for her to lose the election. The same will happen for Trump due to his own idiocy of surrounding himself with criminals. Flynn really thought he could take $500,000 from Turkey AND help ISIS? Seriously?

On top of the republican Benghazi smear campaign, the alt-right threw in their own Spirit Cooking and Pizzagate conspiracies. They did everything they could, and it worked. Now far-right republicans and alt-righties will whine as the same tactics are used against them, but they are the ones to blame for creating them. Neither Obama, Hillary, Romney nor McCain pulled any of that crap on their opponents. Trump had to use it just to get his foot in the door, but now the pendulum has swung and it's open season on small-handed orangutans.
