T-rump's bigly plan to 'build up the military' already derailed

T-rump's $686B plan to build up the military by recruiting 'tens of thousands of new soldiers, sailors, pilots and cyber specialists over the next five years' has seemed to derail before it even officially starts. The reason: there aren't many young Americans who are 'fit to serve'.

For the 17 - 24 age bracket, the pool of Americans focused on to serve our country, nearly 75% are not eligible to serve. Most of the reasons are from obesity / health problems, drug / alcohol dependency, criminal backgrounds, and lack of education. Quite a challenge for the Pentagon.

Retired Army Lt. Gen. Tom Spoehr, co-author of a new Heritage Foundation paper on the military recruiting challenge, says there's an increase in obesity, asthma, and criminality while the number of graduating students has fallen. He warns the traditional image of a healthy young American adult 'Uncle Sam' is always recruiting is no longer a reality.

Matched with a 4% unemployment rate, this is going to be even harder for T-rump to fulfill his promise to recruit 'tens of thousands' of new men and women into the military.

So tired of Russia winning.
