Another top adviser leaves the White House
If it's Friday, another 'top adviser' has left the White House, this time quietly as all eyes were on the Mueller indictments (fake news!) and the Karen McDougal affair (fake news! fake playmate!)...
Reed Cordish, a longtime friend of Jared Kushner, who had no experience at all in any government job, has stepped down from his post as 'Assistant to the President for Intergovernmental and Technology Initiatives'. He will be replaced by Brooke Rollins, a former aide to Energy Secretary Rick Perry.
There was no reason given for Cordish's resigning on Friday. He began the job last March when Kushner launched the Office of American Innovation, and hired his friend for that key position within the department. Kushner said the office has served as 'a liaison between the White House and the business community'. Before this job, Cordish worked for his family's Maryland-based real estate company, "Cordish Companies". There was no information on whether he will be returning there.
